Ah, that's a shame. I figured that was probably the case though. On a side note, and not worthy of it's own thread but a nice bit of forward planning I didn't give a second thought to until I re-watched it during my "go see Infinity War again!" movie marathon this week, take a re-look at the opening scene of Civil War. Howard Stark gets killed by the Winter Soldier for something in medical sample bags. A blue something. ...is that Captain Marvel Kree Blood that's been in play this whole time? Nah, it's just Super Soldier Serum. As far back as in First Avenger, that's been blue. It also explains the sudden psychosis, given the "amplifies everything inside you" aspect mentioned there and Steve, the Skull, and the HYDRA kill squad becoming themselves up to 11. For some reason I remembered the juice in First Avenger being an orangish-red, but I just youtubed it and stand corrected. Ah well. As for the shows, I treat them like the old Star Wars EU: If they don't directly contradict the movies they're headcanon but the movies are the word of law

See, that's the thing that bothers me with people saying that the shows and the movies aren't in canon with each other... Because:
1. Kevin Feige, the guy in charge of it all, says they're in the same universe. Sure, people like Joss Whedon, Anthony Mackie and others say otherwise, but the guy in frickin' charge says it is.
2. The Russo Bros, who directed the big movie this thread is dedicated to, wanted to get the Defenders in here, but couldn't fit them in.
3. Other than an occasional glitch here and there, they haven't contradicted anything.
