This came up in a discussion between BR and I in the shout but if the Bumblebee movie gets a sequel, Jeff Goldblum needs to be cast as Dr. Arkeville.

I almost....hope not? Like, I'd be fine if we wanted Jeff Goldblum to be a mad scientist in the series or whatever? He's a fun on screen presence.
But I seriously want to avoid specific Generation 1 references like that because Transformers is struggling enough to put in things that aren't from G1. I mean, I'd take Prometheus Black or something just to be a concept that's from something a bit more modern.

On the other hand, I've spend 5 movies bitching about how there's waaaaay too many godamned humans and practically no Transformers in the Transformers movies, so.. yeah. Focus on the damn robots.

Now I find myself wondering how Goldblum would sound voicing Wheeljack.

Knock Out and Breakdown? *Reads article* Oh. Well, I could hope couldn't I? Still, I don't hate the car choices and the names are not too bad. Neither is the casting. The robot mode designs I am loving though. They are colorful, distinct, and are identifiable compared to all the previous random Decepticons in the previous films.

Already these Decepticons have more personality than the rest of the movie franchise. I'm officially getting excited now. An evil fem-bot? Heck yes. The fact they're new characters bodes poorly for them making it to a sequel though, but that's what Starscream is for (you guys can stop with the secrecy, literally everyone knows it's Screamer, just staahp.)
