It was good as far as the acting, pacing and writing. The 13 episodes didn't really drag in the middle like I thought with season 1, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Jessica's origin is fully revealed, but I thought it was a bit mundane as far as superhero origins go. The biggest problem I have with this season is that, by the end of it, every character had become completely unlikable due to all the terrible, stupid and selfish decisions they all made. That includes Jessica who was put into one horrible situation after another. Trish (Patsy) Walker was the worst offender. She came much closer to her comic self as far as her powers, but as a person she is far from heroic. If I didn't know any better I'd think they were setting her up as the villain for the next season. Killgrave does "return" for one episode and Davis Tennant still plays him as a magnificent bastard. Overall, I'd still put JJ as the second best of the Marvel Netlix series after Daredevil.

******!!!SPOILERS!!!****** I thought the show was leading up to this big super-powered showdown in the final episode between Jessica's mom and a newly empowered Hellcat in a brutal kinetic donnybrook. Instead it came down to Patsy doing something she could have done 6 episodes earlier, thus saving me several hours of boredom. Such a shame considering how much I loved Season 1.

Kinda with Deino on this one. It felt like a whole lot of shit happening that didn't have much to do with each other. Once Jessica finds out her mother is the "killer", the season just meandered around until it hit a contrived and lackluster ending. The only good part about how it ended is the implication that Trish did in fact get her powers.
