Nope. I'm not buying it. The company owner is a huge right wing, election denier, Covid denier and Flat Earther. NO WAY Hama willingly works for him.

Not only Hama, but I'm surprised that Hasbro would even consider working with someone with that kind of reputation. I'm not saying it would, but to me it seems like this kind of association has the potential to go sideways in a hurry on a Dreamwave level.
BR and I were talking about this and he mentioned that it seems like a majority of TF/Joe license rumors have been focused on smaller, lesser known companies. If that's the case, I wonder if Hasbro is going with a smaller company in order to get a better deal out of it than approaching the bigger companies. I mean I'm no license expert by any means, but could it be possible Hasbro thinks they could get a bigger license fee/deal from a smaller company that could use the recognition of the Hasbro brands vs. the bigger companies that are already established and have a bigger portfolio of characters. I mean Hasbro took a 4Q hit last year and they probably need the biggest deal they could to help offset that loss.

I'm not a big follower of G.I. Joe comics...
...but if Lady Jaye starts talking about Jewish space lasers, I say we riot.

So it's March first... Annnnd they were bullshitting.
Apparently they're making a comic of Super Joe, which was that short lived line between the '76 Adventure Team GiJoe (76AT), and the Real American Hero (RAH) we all know and love. If Goji was still around, he's about my older brother's age, so he probably even had one of these guys.
Unlike the 76AT, with this wasn't a direct line of descent to RAH. The name was technically "Super Joe", not GiJoe, and other than the fact that there's a guy named Joe on the team, he's not the same guy as Joe Colton. This was a more science fiction thing. If I had to give a good comparison, this would be like if 76AT and RAH was the Power Rangers... These guys would be VR Troopers. Related in origins, but different properties over all.

I did a little looking into this. Super Joe wasn't even handled by Hasbro but by Mego in the 70s. And there is also a revival Super Joe toyline that was announced last year that had zero to do with Hasbro. Power Comics had balls to use the GI Joe logo in their tease but considering what you said about the owner, I guess that is not shocking. But I am surprised that Hasbro didn't chime in about them using the Joe logo though.
