www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/186952www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/207012I kind of forgot I had ordered the Megazord until I got the notice about the Dragonzord. I've skipped various updates of the dino Megazord like the Soul of Chogokin and the Super Minipla because I have the original DX toy. This kind of strikes my fancy though. It's still big, unlike the Minipla, but the price isn't totally hateful like the SoC, and it's not a cost reduced deal like the "remaster" / legacy version. The only thing I wish they'd done better is the hollow spaces in the Sabertooth Tiger's legs. If I was feeling industrious and felt like painting, I could fix that with putty. Being honest though, it'll spend its life in Megazord mode, so it's not a deal breaker. Adding the Dragonzord has me really excited because I don't and never did have Titanus. So... boy I hope they finish this out. Then I could have my original deluxes separate, and these displayed as the glorious clusterfuck that is the Ultrazord. Also, the finger missile effects on the Dragonzord are hilarious. 10/10, no notes.

The Astro Megazord is one of my favorite toys ever, from any toy line. It combined a transforming robot with basically Star Trek TNG, how would I not love that? For that reason, this is one of the cases where I probably like the Power Rangers adaptation more than the Super Sentai (Megaranger is kinda boring, IMO...). I still have my original DX Astro and Delta Megazords, but like all my vintage Zords I'm afraid to mess with them. One of the Astro-Delta Megazord shoulder ratchets is already broken, so the arm won't hold up. I'll probably wind up getting this guy whenever they announce it. And yeah, it's not only a Transformer, but also kind of a Headmaster.

I'm not really into Power Rangers anymore, but I'll admit enough nostalgia that the MegaZord is mildly tempting.

I stopped collecting Power Rangers a long time ago but I have always had a fondness for the Astro Megazord. Depending on price once this goes up for pre-order, I might order one.
But while I like the "In Space" blue, I really liked the darker version Bandai released under Lost Galaxy. I would love to see Hasbro do that repaint as long as I didnt have to buy a NFT first like the ZAP Black and Gold MMPR Megazord.

Oh yeah... I always forget they reissued some In Space toys during Lost Galaxy. So weird.
I haven't bought any American MegaZords since they stopped importing the existing Japanese DX toys. I think Operation Overdrive was the first one they did that. I occasionally buy a Japanese one if I like it enough, like Kiramajin or Don Onitaijin. Hasbro doing these might help scratch the itch for some of the older stuff I don't have without breaking the bank though.
