So I started following this podcast after a friend recommended it and thought it might be interesting for people looking for something to do with time to burn. This summary from TVTropes is mostly accurate for the premise:
Jonathan Sims is the newly appointed archivist of the Magnus Institute, an academic organisation in London dedicated to research into the paranormal. Unfortunately his predecessor Gertrude Robinson left the archive in a complete mess. Countless statements from people who have come to the Institute over the years to report alleged supernatural experiences lie in hopeless disorder. It’s up to Jonathan to record them properly, and follow up any interesting ones with the help of his assistants, Tim, Sasha and Martin.
Episodes are about 22-25 minutes long on average, and I'm up to episode 70 myself, with each season being about 40 episodes long. It starts out mostly episodic until certain elements start popping up across statements, with plot kicking in more towards the second half of season 1. The scares are less jump-scare-y style so much as slow burn uneasiness, but it's definitely been a fun thing to follow.
Season 1 has a full playlist here, and the channel has the rest posted there as well:

iacon45: Actually I have yet to take GS or anything else out of the BBTS box yet. Saving that for this afternoon. Be nice to finally build my first Gundam model in years. I haven't even started on it and I ordered a second one from Entertainment Earth
