You don't even know how much I squeeled when I saw this announced last year. I fucking LOVED Panzer Dragoon. Wait, shit, it's out today? BRB, gotta go spend money. If only to get them to give me Zwei and Saga. I would commit unspeakable atrocities for a remake of Saga. Beyond FF7, it's the game I want to revisit most.

Yeah, I had my eye on this during the Direct as well. Kinda came out of nowhere. I've never played them before, but I do enjoy that sort of Star Fox type rail shooter.

PZ was a game that just OOZED style. The art, music and vague lore just fascinated me. The later games expound on the lore a bit, but the first game reminds me a LOT of A New Hope thematically, in that there's a lot of implied background world that doesn't get touched on at all (ie, before the EU and Disney turned every bit character into 3 novels and a spinoff comic). But that, combined with the (at the time amazing) graphics and it being one of the first games to really intro me to a 3-d game environment (shit comes at you from literally every direction), makes it a special fave for me. Remake holds up - it looks like I "remember" it looking (in other worlds, pretty, not low poly, no texture Saturn mud!), the music sounds like I remember, and the gameplay is *almost* identical. I couldn't believe how well my muscle memory responded to this game despite not playing it in years. I'd get to a stage and be like.. oh yeah, this is the round with X Boss, and I'd bloody remember how to fight him. So why the hell can't I remember shit I did last week?
