Personally I think Trump should be tried for literal treason. And negligent homicide. And misusing the power of his office. And breaching the Emoluments Clause. And suggesting people break the law by improperly using disinfectants. And false advertisement (for hydroxychlorquine). And kidnapping. And child endangerment. And all those sexual assaults. And tax fraud. And outstanding debts (both domestic and foreign). Honestly, I wouldn't mind air-dropping his ass into Iran, but I'd rather he face a genuinely fair U.S. trial. While his mouth is duct-taped shut and he's kept away from social media.

Not to turn this into an anti-Trump topic but, seriously....buckle up for the election. If he loses...which is in doubt because the Dems seem to have run out of viable candidates since Obama, but.... if he loses, you know he'll start crying about widespread voter fraud and how the Dems rigged the election to stir up his "base". Since a good portion of Americans don't understand the difference between the electoral college and the popular vote, it will work and there will be MORE chaos. I wouldn't put it past him to refuse to vacate the office come January. It's gonna be a complete shit show either way.

I fully expect him to try something like that. Don’t know what’s going to happen, but he’s already going into full-on panic mode. Throwing everything they’ve got at Biden. It’s going to be ugly.

I do think there's a good chance he will actually lose the election. I know Biden is kinda lame mayonnaise, but I think there's enough people who are scared shitless now to not fuck around like they did in 2016, voting third parties and shit. Trump's base hasn't grown. They've just gotten louder. (And yes, there's a chance he COULD win. We cannot ignore that!) But yeah, I fully expect after November 8th all the way to Mid January to be a national nightmare. And when I say nightmare... I mean, worse than anything we've ever seen in our lives. I would not be surprised if this turns nation-wide violent.

In an interview with Chris Wallace yesterday (in which the reporter had no patience for Trumps shit and no hesitation in calling it out) he tried pulling the 'mail in rigging' claim again.

The best we can hope for is that when he loses, his aides leak that's he's tantruming, but he tries to play it cool on Twitter. That would hopefully lessen the reaction of the more volatile in his base.
As it is, when said base realizes the guy that doesn't care about them or their values isn't getting a second term, they'll buy his garbage about "cheating" and "conspiracies". Trump loves planting seeds of distrust and discord, but wants to be far away and safe in his bunker when it comes time to reap. Let everyone else deal with collateral damage.

Giving who he's clearly trying to ape (seriously, the parallels to certain European countries circa the 1920s and 30s is getting genuinely concerning), I vote we start calling him El Toupée

Yeah, I think we've all heard stories about what's going on in Portland. And I'm still trying to figure out some stories I'm hearing about downtown Los Angeles are true...

So it looks like loss of smell is the one unifying theme across the board here. That and headaches... But headaches could be caused by anything. So this is good to know!
(I'm currently dealing with a recent diagnosis of sleep apnea, and a lot of these symptoms have applied to me. But I never loss the smell or taste. So that's been my measuring stick for it.)
