I know some of you jumped off the Gotham train a while back, but tonight is the series finale if you want to check out where it went. At the end of the penultimate episode last week, Bruce left Gotham to begin his journey of discovery. Tonight's episode jumps forward 10 years as Bruce returns to Gotham.

I did watch the trailer earlier in the week, and it just reinforced how little I care. Juxtaposing stuff from Season 1 against how it is now was not a good choice for them

Eh, I make no promises.
I haven't cared about the show in a long time, I can't say I've been interested in anything I've heard they did since tuned out, much like Smallville. BUT, I did catch...most of the last half of Smallville's finale, so maybe morbid curiosity will get the best of me. Maybe it'll be something I can vlog about (but I'm 982 subscribers and over 3,000 hours of viewed hours [in the past 12 months] shy of monetizing, so I have to wonder what the point is).

Gotham has long been my "eh, something to watch" show that I DVR and then watch in a batch after I've burned through all the shit I actually care about but need something to watch while I have a late dinner. I'll get around to seeing this, but I'm not gonna be sorry it's gone.

I stopped watching a while back but I did YT the moment... Seeing Batman appear at the very last second was short and brief. People are complaining that he should have been in the finale more. To be honest, I figured it would be short like Superman's grand appearance in Smallville. But in Smallville, at least, while not close up, it did see the newly costumed Superman save the day one last time before setting up an epilogue. Here we just see Batman standing there then nothing. We all know that he is going to start kicking villian ass but it would be nice to see him start to do that before the end.

It was....meh. I believe they dressed tall, lanky 18-year-old David Mazouz in the suit to represent 28-year-old Batman, and it just didn't look right. He looked like he was cosplaying. They trolled fans by starting the episode with Gordan having a mustache, then he shaved it off after one scene. Jeremiah was the real puzzler. He was looking like a classic Joker earlier in the season, then they made him take the Ace Chemical plunge after the fact. He came out looking like a cross between Heath Ledger's J and Frankenstein. It just didn't work for me. Everything else was sufficiently predictable with with Edward and Oswald turning up the camp to an 11 out of 10.
I'm still kinda pissed that they teased Man-Bat in the season 4 finale yet never followed up on it, instead giving several episodes to the always overrated Bane.
