The Disney acquisition of Fox became official at 12:01 am this morning. The home page for the Walt Disney Co. has been updated to include the likes of Bart Simpson and Deadpool standing alongside Carol Danvers, Woody, Elsa and, of course, Mickey. At 12:02 AM, Kevin Feige began the search for the next Wolverine.

Does that make Lisa and Maggie Disney Princesses? I dunno is somewhere in the infinite seasons of the Simpsons there an episode that shows them descended from royalty? If so, then yes.

Hey, Mulan and Pocahontas get lumped together with Cinderella and Aurora, why not? But...but...Pocahontas was the daughter of the chief....? Hold on, let's see what Wiki has to say on this.... "An Indian princess (or Native American princess) is a representation of indigenous women of the Americas. Often, they are portrayed as daughters of tribal chiefs and are depicted as cartoons that conform to unnatural standards of beauty. The most famous and legendary Indian princess is Pocahontas." Ha! Told ya!

Does that mean the Alien Queen is Disney royalty too?

From the official rules, the criteria to be a Disney Princess are as follows:
1. The character is human, or human-like in the case of Ariel. 2. The character has a primary role in an animated Disney/Pixar film. 3. The character has not been introduced in a sequel. 4. The character has either been born royal, married royal, or has performed an act of heroism.
The official Disney Princesses are Snow White, Ariel, Rapunzel, Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Merida.
Now, though Anna and Moana meets the requirements to be a princess, they are not officially indoctrinated into the category, despite their shared cameos in Wreck it Ralph 2. There are what's called unofficial princesses, these include basically those that would eventually qualify for the title. This is where Moana and Anna falls. Elsa is not qualified for it because she's a queen.
So to answer your question, Lisa are Maggie not royalty, so they are not princesses. And the Alien Queen is not human so she doesn't count.
Interestingly enough, the reason Leia Organa is not considered a Princess, despite being a princess... Is because she was not born royal to Bail and Breha Organa, despite adopting her. It's silly, I know. But apparently that is the official reason for it.
Then again, she's a goddamned general... She don't need to be part of a clique.

More like Anna & Moana are at the height of their popularity & able to move merchandise on their own without being lumped in with the other princesses... for now.

What about the "or performed an act of heroism" clause? Surely that applies to Leia. Pick anything between stealing the Death Star plans and being a general in the Resistance.
