Some years later we'll get Legacy/Whatever Generations Vehicons again. I have Deluxe Thrust and the Motorcycle Drone and neither match up properly. Also a proper looking Voyager Tankor would be sick.

I've always had a low-key love for BM Megatron's toy too - the wing-cloak was really cool and gave him some shelf personality. Didn't love what the show did to BW Megatron's character, but I liked the toy. I'd be interested in that retool too.

news.tfw2005.com/2022/08/16/transformers-brand-live-stream-for-8-16-22-recap-legacy-studio-series-and-more-463419#more-463419A lot of new stuff shown off here in detail. Alt modes for what we saw from SDCC. Also, tiny Core Class Bomb Burst to go with Iguanus and Skullgrin. Looks like a definite buy for me. Studio series Hot Rod looks a lot better than his prior releases, while Crosshairs is a neon pile of garbage. But I knew that'd happen given his "trenchcoat/duster" design just...doesn't work. They tried. They made an attempt. SS The Fallen is a really good Fallen robot mode figure with a space jet mode that makes TF Movie 1 Megatron look reasonable. I'm absolutely getting it just because his alt mode makes me laugh so hard. Also, the robot mode is a really, REALLY good Fallen. Complete with face ripping. SS86 Ironhide as we've seen before, which I've already got Siege and Earthrise of, so I'll wait for them to repaint him into someone else. SS86 Core Rumble looks really good. Give us a Frenzy now and sure, it can't fit in Soundwave, you always have at least two cassettes outside of him anyway.

With Ironhide, it's kind of cool that they seem to have gotten all the van stuff to fold away as opposed to splitting off as the sled. He doesn't look compromised by it, but we'll have to see once people get him in hand.
Rumble with piledrivers. I thought I was done with cassettes after the Micromaster ones. God dammit, Hasbro. You got me again.
I'm a little sad that with Bomb-burst being a Core, the Masterforce Pretender trio won't all be the same size.

The one thing I hated during ER was whole parts of vehicles coming off as a clunky accessory instead of cleaver engineering (ER Arcee and Megatron). But Ironhide and Ratchet I could forgive because it was kind of a G1 toy nod. But SS86 does look interesting with all the van folded up into the robot mode but I don't know if I like him enough to upgrade though. The one thing that bugs me about SS86 Ironhide is the mix match red coloring. But it wouldn't be a deal breaker since mixmatching colors isn't really something new. Also agreed on Rumble. I really don't want to rebuy him but with the Piledrivers...yep...gonna buy. But I do hope we get a new Kingdom Blaster compatible Ramhorn, Steeljaw, Rewind, and a non-clear Eject in this manner. Also hope Hasbro can maybe do a better Ravage. I don't buy the SS Bayverse toys but I'm kinda mixed on Crosshairs. When he is in an action pose, the new coat kibble actually looks pretty good. But just standing, not so much. For just lazy kibble, I think the regular AoE Deluxe Crosshair's sides and top car kibble made a better coat look in just a standing pose. The Fallen looks interesting too for a Bayverse release but I'll be passing on him as well.

I'm okay with the ER Ironhide/Ratchet/Guard, mainly because the sleds are kind of an G1 toy nod, so I have no need to get the new ones... Unless they release a Marvel style Ratchet with the red head & hands... But I AM happy that people will finally be able to get a decent Ironhide that's not a ridiculous expensive exclusive box set.
With Arcee... Yeah the SS86 just kicks her ass all around. I'm okay with that toy as Lifeline, but mainly because I worked my own canon into why that sled is a piece of shit. But I would love to see a new Nightbird or even original Pink and Orange colors from SS86 Arcee.
And while ER Megatron sucked... And he does! But having the cheap add-on mods makes him an amazing G2 Megatron.

The pants swap is funny. Reminds me of the undocumented feature where Siege Skytread was compatible with PotP Battletrap.

news.tfw2005.com/2022/09/30/hasbro-pulsecon-2022-transformers-panel-round-up-466460Pulsecon panel stuff: Legacy Evolution Core Class: 6 Dinobots that combine into Core Volcanicus. Core Soundblaster Breakdown, no surprises here, though the spoiler pops off to merge with the weapon as an axe, apparently part of the new "EvoFusion" gimmick where all Legacy figures will have parts that can pop off and be used by other figures. Junkion Scraphook, a Junkion tow-truck that comes apart to be used as armor for other characters, but also can use later Junkions in the line as extra armor on himself. Very Mad Max style Armada Hot Shot, complete with engine block gun, axel bazooka usable by other toys Needlenose was a runner up in the polls, so we have him here with both his (not very articulated) Targetmasters, but still pretty sleek. Leo Prime: Voyager and a mini-Masterpiece as the people note. Mane blasters (not missile firing) forearm clawblades in robot, articulated jaw, matrix chestplate. Tarn: Walked right off the comic page, his double fusion cannon turns into a combined long rifle for himself or other people. SG Soundwave: Using the boombox mold COVID did delay some things (Legacy got out on the shelves later than planned), so no leaders ready for Wave 1. It'll be a repack of TM2 Megs. But Leaders are planned for Waves 2 and 3. Heavily implying that the Decepticon face in the poster for Legacy Evolution is the Nemesis Titan.
