That sounds like the absolute worst version I could possibly imagine being made.

I kinda wonder if it's a joke. At this point, the only way to edit the film is by recording it on your phone and using software on one's computer. One the one hand, some of those "edits" sound like clear digs against people overly concerned with the female characters' involvement (and removing them all completely is not only stretching, even knowing how sexist some comic fans can get), but an overly daunting task that'd make the scenes disjointed at best. Also, the references to removing more humorous elements could be a shot at DC, since taking things too seriously is what made the DCEU so unbearable.
On the other hand...I could see a few people thinking this is a good idea.

This isn't the first time those idiots have edited movies to demonstrate just how big a pack of snowflakes they are. I can believe it.

Oh yeah, I believe it. The levels of fan entitlement these days is hilarious. I'm currently taking great enjoyment in the petition to get HBO to friggin redo Season 8 of Game of Thrones because it sucks (and it does), but yeah, ok, sure, the network is gonna rehire everyone, spend millions of extra dollars, redo sets, etc etc just because you don't like it. *rude handgesture*.

ok if this isn't actually on the home release it'll be the biggest missed opportunity of the entire Saga.

Somehow I managed to avoid most of the spoilers until this thing hit blu ray. Bought it, watched it. Absolutely incredible.
3 hours!!! This movie is 3 SOLID hours, but it didn’t feel like it!! The start was a little slow just because they were dealing with the aftermath of Infinity War, but it was never boring. I never thought, “when does this movie pick up.
I like the way they handled time travel. Especially when people in the past started changing things for their own benefit (like Loki escaping with the tesseract & obviously Thanos learning of the future). Was sad that Gamora, Black Widow & Loki stayed dead, and that the alternate versions we got of them were their past selves that hadn’t gone through all the character development we’d seen in the movies. So now we still have Loki, but he’s not the hero of the end of Ragnarok & we have Gamora but it’s a version that never met StarLord. The final battle was like 45 minutes or more but I didn’t feel exhausted afterwards.
All in all, this was everything it should’ve been and then some. Its epic on a scale that could only be accomplished by building the story up like this over the last 11 years. When the credits rolled, it really felt like the end of an epic journey. I want to go back & rewatch all the movies now!

Spider-Man Far From Home serves as a nice little epilogue to the whole thing as well.
