Well I can definitely see why I have yet to see complaints on this movie.
I'm not one for long detailed reviews of movies, but this one sure had some epic moments.
Certain scene near the end really blew my mind!!!!

Caught an early showing today, part of me didn't really want to go out, wasn't really interested...
But I was quite pleasantly surprised. While it'd easily fit into the category of "did we really need this", I think it was still a fun ride, even if it did have certain elements that I saw coming from the first ten minutes. Didn't feel like it had quite as much "wink at the camera" to it as I felt it would, from some non-spoilery comments on Facebook. Though...did that "dice charm" of Han's ever appear in ANY other movie besides The Last Jedi?
And yeah...who Qi'ra was talking to near the end? Did not see that coming. Probably like a lot of movie-goers that have just stuck with the movies.
I could be persuaded to the get the DVD release...if there was a bonus scene where Danny Pudi is playing Han at the card game, and he and Donald Glover are in Community characters.
Han and Lando in the Mor-nin'!

As far as that person at the end... Have you guys not watched Clone Wars and Rebels?

Oh, I did (incidentally, much better in Rebels than Clone Wars). I just didn't think expect an appearance in the live-action films. I guess I subconsciously figured the shows would have largely tangential relationships with the movies. Then I saw the feet, heard the voice, and I'm like...naaww, they didn't. They did.
Maybe they've got future appearances and an over-arching story well into the Boba Fett movie, or the Jabba movie, or whichever "Star Wars Story" is next. Kinda like how three or four Marvel movies are supposed to have enough of a Hulk story to be their own Hulk movie. And then the last to feature the character will direct people to watch certain episodes of Rebels.

From what I understand about the Star Wars movies, they're doing something kinda revolutionary in that it ALL matters. Basically stuff in the comics, books and TV shows will influence stuff in the movies. You know... Like how Marvel SAID they'd do.
Personally, I wish they'd pick another time period OTHER than this same generation of people in the entire galaxy. KotOR, Legacy... ANYTHING.
I'd kill for a Ulic Qel-Droma movie.

Well, he's more awesome in Rebels... Which I know is saying something.
Seriously, there's a confrontation between him and Obi-Wan. It may rank up there as one of the greatest lightsaber battles in history. When you get the chance... Holy crap, I recommend it. (Unless you want me to spoil it for you right now!)

I plan on watching it, just keep forgetting to download the seasons.
