Also dial it back and not shove movies down our throats every year and wear out the fandom. Frickin' THAT. Jesus. It's not even been five months since the Last Jedi debuted. Then again, Episode 9 doesn't come out until Christmas of NEXT year, so we got a year and a half there. Maybe they'll learn?

Oh boy, the most overrated tertiary character in cinematic history gets an origin story! Oh no, wait, he already got one of those and it was stupid. So are they going for the crawl out of the Sarlacc cuz baddass! lore? Man, I'm on the other side of the spectrum, I suppose. I found VIII better than VII, and Rogue One was great, so I'm actively looking forward to Solo. Boba Fett is... eh, it's a tricky thing. If they stick to some of his earlier appearances where he's a badass but clearly mortal and fallible as opposed to the fanon that built up over time? It could be interesting. Hell, I'd buy a Boba Fett movie that's following the guy he's hunting and Fett's more of a Predator style silent antagonist that's constantly catching up with him. What they could do, is have Fett be this mortal, fallible guy that just has this big "badass" reputation that he doesn't necessarily contribute to, but doesn't dissuade, either. It gets him work and lets other think tangling with him is a bad idea. So if people want to say he can go toe-to-toe with a Sith Lord or crawled out of the Sarlaac with nothing but his bare hands and tenacity, he let's them. Then maybe halfway through, they have the revelation that, yeah, he's skilled, but match for a Jedi he ain't.

Yeah. Star Wars films used to be a huge pop culture event because they were so rare. Now we’re getting an abundance of them, so they feel less epic. The spectacle has become normalized, I guess. I still like them though, but I could see why ticket sales may be seeing a slump.
