Swamp Thing has been ordered to stop production at episode 10 short of the 13 originally greenlit. WB is reportedly "evaluating" the future of the service. I saw the Swamp Thing teaser and actually liked what I saw. I'm digging the practical costume instead just being CGI'd. Shame production got halted though. This was the only dc service show I was interested in.

After airing just one episode of the shortened season, Swamp Thing has been cancelled. Apparently the production cost is what killed the series as WB wasn't getting all the tax breaks promised by the state of North Carolina.
Meanwhile, back in Speculation-ville, WB is considering launching their streaming service at $16-$17 a month, but that would include HBO and Cinemax in addition to the Warner Media library. Whether or not DC Universe will be folded into the service of survive alone remains to be seen. WB execs will start meetings on the streaming service next week looking toward a March 2020 launch.

Swamp Thing was the only show on this whole service I was even interested in. I also read in another article that some higher ups didn't like the direction the show was headed either.
