Apparently Musk fired the CEO and chief legal officer, dissolved the board of directors, and now has people working 82 hour work weeks on insane deadlines under fear of oncoming layoffs. It sucks for the workers stuck under him, but if this platform's trying to collapse as fast as Facebook, well...
Layoffs hit today. Also he's complaining that Twitter is doing so badly all of a sudden because of activist groups with a grudge against him harassing businesses to leave the site as some sort of plot against America.
Elon buddy, it's not just America that hates you! You're a global shitstain!

Sounds like Twitter became the next MySpace overnight. Oh well.

Hey, with MySpace, Tom took the money he was paid for it, and went off to live a quiet life. Elon is setting all his money on fire and providing us with dinner and a show.

I thought he was burning it down for insurance.

I thought he was burning it down for insurance.
He used too much of his own and other peoples money and stocks as collateral for the sale. His antics here are making the price of Tesla shares plummet, which makes his own value plummet (Because his net worth is based in large part on ownership of shares) and makes the banks more likely to call in debts. He's depended for years on a dedicated PR team to manage his image, but his Twitter account and the dumbass stunts he pulls there have always been the weak point in that. The smart thing to do would be to admit he's in over his head, hire someone that knows what they're doing, and SHUT THE FUCK UP. But he's NEVER been that smart, and he can't shut up.

Yeah, Tom might honestly be one of the smartest dudes ever. Made a product that hit it big, took the money, and fucked right off out of the spotlight to enjoy his success and live a good life. Good for him. Elon's just a spoiled rich kid that doesn't like being told no.

This is why I didn't even consider Tesla when looking at electric cars. He is just too unhinged. I couldn't trust that he wouldn't just implode the company and leave me with a DeLorean situation, not to mention what he could push in updates to the cars.

Lol I just meant MySpace in the sense that it was the biggest social media platform of its time and now it’s a distant memory. Whole generations of people that don’t even know what it was.

After the layoffs, they are now asking some of them to come back because they were 'let go by mistake'.

After the layoffs, they are now asking some of them to come back because they were 'let go by mistake'. HAAAAA!! Sounds to me like they suddenly realized they need these people to maintain Twitter.
