Megatron really turned a corner or is it all a deception?

Well, here's the thing. The show runners are the folks behind Rise of the TMNT, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, Transformers Cyberverse, Rescue Bots (and some of Prime/RiD15( and Animated. The lead story writer, Mae Catt has a good history of writing TF shows as well. This isn't the early 00s anymore where they're importing anime with minimal thought put into the dub jobs. They're all very, very familiar with TF lore... Especially the IDW universes.
Whether Megs is posing as a good guy or actually has made a switch, remains to be seen but I trust them to pull this off.

The important thing is...does he transform into a Super Soaker?

I can handle a version of Megs that realizes he was wrong and starts working with Prime... I just don't know if I can handle the apparent "nice guy" persona. I feel like he needs to still be an asshole, like a Vegeta type character. Well, there's the one line he has during the trailer "Please, resist. It's my favorite part." which suggests for all that he may be a good guy, he's definitely still someone who enjoys a scrap.

I'd be fine with him going that route, or even the Magneto route, but happy cheery friendly Megs? Yeah, that doesn't work.

I haven’t been paying too much attention to Earthspark, but I’m liking what I’m seeing. Just been catching up on all the trailers and stuff. It looks different at least.

Well, it seems that this Megatron respects at least some humans. And Dot is noted as having a history with the transformers. His being polite to her, I can see.
Also, his GHOST insignia still has a 'con symbol.

That line stood out to me as well, and gives me hope that he isn't just going to be obnoxious and chipper all the time.

He fights Soundwave and Wave calls him Traitor... I'm hoping for a Lost Light style Megs, because that was fun as hell.

He fights Soundwave and Wave calls him Traitor... I'm hoping for a Lost Light style Megs, because that was fun as hell. Definitely this. IDW writers turning Megatron into an Autobot in MTMTE was one of my favorite things about that series and glad to see it's something they want to try in another series. If Earthspark is successful and gets another season, I really hope we see Thundercracker with Buster as well. I'm hoping, like Mach said, the writers are familiar and fans of the IDW-verse enough to include this aspect as well. The fun family feel of the show is just begging for some TC/Buster adventures and hopefully they can include Marrissa as well. But I want Earthspark to find it's footing first.
