more and more Legacy convinces me I need to step away from TFs for a while at least. I look at every reveal from the FanFirst and feel nothing. I don't want any of them and I don't see any way that could improve.
Anyone been in this spot before? What caused it/fixed it?

It's easy to burn out if you buy things out of a sense of obligation. I'd just figure out what you really want, and focus on that. Mach has his Diaclone repaints. I'm looking for cartoon accurate versions of the season 1 cast, and of the '86 movie guys. And Beast Wars season 1. If you have everything you actively want to have... maybe it is time to step back and just enjoy what you've got.

Honestly, if you don't see something that appeals, you shouldn't buy it just because you feel the need to be *in* the hobby.
Keep an eye out, see if something comes up that appeals to you, don't spend money if there isn't. Maybe look at the 3rd party scene that has a lot of more obscure stuff Hasbro doesn't touch off-hand. If you're not buying a lot of first party figures, one third party isn't as expensive when there's nothing else competing for budget.
But I know the feeling of just feeling like 'what's the point?' though in my case, it's lacking easy display options in my current place for the better part of 3/4ths of my collection. I want to get it, but sometimes I'm like "but where would I put it, what would I put away and where would I store *that*?" and it just seems easier to give up collecting physical objects that take up space altogether. But sometimes those are just...bad days in general and when I come back to it later, I may feel differently. Sometimes it's not necessarily collecting in general and more a symptom of something else.
But the big point is, if you don't want it, don't force yourself to buy it, and it's fine to not be interested and save some money.

Yup, pretty much.
With Skids, I now have all the characters from the OG crew and the movie guys. I'll cave for the G2 because it's fucking G2, but even THAT has a limit. There's like three more Seekers to make and I'm just waiting for the announcement of the Yellow Trailbreaker and Red Mirage, Overcharge, Crosscut, Reboost and Diaclone Topspin, and that's done too.
It doesn't help that I have a wife and a mortgage, we're trying to have kids and I have an actual career now, with actual obligations. Price increases don't help none.
I'm with you and it's okay to take a step back. I'll see where the future brings us, but right now? I think I'm okay with what is left for me.
Also I should get my ass back to comic work anyway.

Fuckin Titans man BlackZarak still annoys me because I wanted him and just couldn't justify the space. Metroplex was a weird combo of "eh" but relief because it was a Titan I wouldn't have to have that mental tangle over.

Do not make my mistake and try a different plastic crack. *Is drowning in Warhammer.* A few mutuals of mine on Twitter seem to be falling into that specific category of addiction hell. I'm thankful my own ventures into role playing has mainly stuck with just online Roll20 stuff and not evolved into making custom figurines. (Though I won't lie, the temptation is there.)

GW has been makinf many fans happy of late, so the sink hole is large

Fuckin Titans man BlackZarak still annoys me because I wanted him and just couldn't justify the space. Metroplex was a weird combo of "eh" but relief because it was a Titan I wouldn't have to have that mental tangle over. This is my thought exactly. Black Zarak, especially with all those remolds, looks spectacular but between cost and space I ended up having to force myself to pass on him as well. And 100% agreement on Metroplex. I'm going to enjoy not having to figure out more shelf space for another Titan while saving $200+ this year. I guess I could say that evens out after dropping the money for Star Saber last year. But also agree with pretty much everything else people have said about the burnout. Between selection, availability (be it exclusivity or shipping issues), and the rising costs, it's hard not to take a hard look at the collection behavior. I've had to take a closer look at the newer figures and what I already have and decide if it's something I really want or is the older figure good enough. I used to upgrade my figures pretty regularly but now I ended up passing on Kingdom Ultra Magnus, Kingdom Waspinator, Legacy Arcee, Earthrise Megatron because I actually enjoyed older versions more. I also had to step back from alot of the exclusive and Selects repaints except for a....select....few. Some of the repaints are based on good molds but I had to decide do I really need x# of said mold (ER and Siege seekers get a pass ) I also looked at what I already had and had to make some hard decisions if I actually still want it or can I sell it and make some more room and money. I'm thankfully still able to buy some stuff but if prices on everything keep going up on everything (not just toys), I might have to step back from collecting just from a financial standpoint more than just burnout.
