Well, with Brooklyn 99, it was originally an NBC production that got shopped to Fox. So they always owned it, and now that Fox has rejected it... It's back to NBC again. Word is that they kinda wanted it back for a while now.
Speaking of said show, I just LAST NIGHT started watching it on Hulu, as I have never seen an episode of it.
It's pretty frickin' good.

I've heard good things and seen some entertaining gifs and such...but I've typically avoided it because of Andy Samberg.

Gotham is in an interesting situation. Fox's Lethal Weapon was a lock for renewal, but a few days ago they fired the actor that played Riggs because he was an abusive asshole on set. Now they're scrambling to find another actor to recast the role. If they can't find anyone in the next few days by the time of up fronts, Lethal Weapon is gone and Gotham gets renewed. If they find a new Riggs, Gotham is gone and Weapon gets renewed. Fox canceled a ton of series in the past few days, so not sure what's going on there. Speculation is that they want to add more sports programming. I know I might be tarred and feathered for saying this, especially in this forum, but I'm kind of pulling for Lethal Weapon. I personally, thought it was better than any of the movies, and while I completely understand their reasoning for firing the actor that played Riggs, I really hope they can save the show and find someone else to fill the role. But from the few articles I have read, Fox has reached out to some actors already and have been turned down by all of them thus far, so it looks like Gotham might be the winner out of this.

I've never watched the Lethal Weapon series, but...yeah, I wouldn't care if Gotham got kicked. They lost me at the end of Season...2, I think it was...when it ended with a clone of Bruce Wayne. I want to say I stayed longer, but maybe it's just that the two seasons FELT longer than they were. I mean, there were a slew of other factors at work, like the show obviously having no clue what to do with Barbara, but yeah. Don't miss the show now, wouldn't if FOX chose to keep Lethal Weapon.

Gotham's still on my DVR. All 9 or so episodes since it came back the last time. it's my "I watch it when I have nothing else to watch" show. Every time Barbara comes back from the dead again I wish the show wouldn't.

Gotham is OK if you just consider it an alternate Earth and go with the flow. I mean, they just did their version of Killing Joke and now they're headed toward No Man's Land as a season finale. They obviously don't think they'll be around long enough enough for Bruce to actually become Batman so they're blowing through all their source material before he turns 18.

Already announcing it as the final season, huh? I guess some kind of last minute deal was made to let the show have a proper ending. I wonder how many more characters they'll try to shoehorn into the final 22 episodes. Killer Moth? Kite Man? Bat-Mite?
