That CSM stuff is crazy. The first one I looked at online was the Agito one and that has some impressive functionality.
So really just working through OOO at the moment and watching Revice as it comes out. But now that Toei has put the first two episodes of all the other shows up on YouTube And I’ve watched all of those I have a single question;
Is Saber as bad as it looks?
I mean, my god…I thought I’d hate Ex-Aid just by the aesthetic and the gamer theme, but the first two episodes make it look fun and I enjoyed Kamen Sentai Gorider, so My initial impression was wrong on that one. But Saber looks like what would happen if you let Wes Anderson direct a Sentai series and then decided to change it to a Rider show at the last minute. Those first two episodes were just so…indescribable.

Saber has its moments, but I was probably more lukewarm on that than any other Rider series. There does come a point where the happy Sentai team breaks up, and we get more Rider on Rider violence.
One thing that killed me is that the belts in that show talk. Way. Too. Fucking. Much.

So here's a funny story.
Now, I respect Tokusatsu, but outside of the occasional Power Rangers show or like Netflix's Ultraman... I find it too intimidating to know where to start. At least like Doctor Who, I know to wait until either a new Doctor or a new companion shows up, and start there. But like Kamen Rider? Where do I fucking begin? Especially when it comes to the Super Sentai shows.
Well the other night, trying to do research, I decided to just take a jump and try one at random. What one, you ask?
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger
There are moments there, I just sat there, mouth agape, thinking "What the hell am I watching?"
But I quickly realized, that if the rest of the Sentai shows are like the MCU... This is Deadpool. This is the odd one out. And... It's pretty funny for it!

Akibaranger is a treasure. Another show that does a great job of celebrating / lampooning tokusatsu fan culture is Tokusatsu GAGAGA!
As for where to start... pick one that looks interesting and go. They occasionally have crossover, but each show is 100% self contained. Toei has been posting the first two episodes of each show on their YouTube, so it's a good way to scope them out. The only ones that you might enjoy less to start would be Decade and Zi-O, since they are each heavily based on revisiting previous series.

Pretty much what he said. Unless you want to get in deep with the crossover movies and the like, you really can't go wrong just picking a series and running with it. Personally, I prefer the Heisei and Reiwa era stuff myself (2000-present). As far as they go, Kuuga and Ryuki are both available on Shout Factory’s TokuShoutsu streaming service which you can watch online free as well as through stuff like Pluto TV. Zero One will start streaming next month there as well. If you want the most mature series, Amazons is available on Amazon Prime. I have a source for everything else, so I’ll send a PM about that. But like Trium said, the Toei Tokusatu channel has the first two episodes of everything (save the newest series, Revice) up. That’s a great way to sample these things. Having watched the first two of them all, I can say the only one I’m hesitant on is Saber. All of the rest had at least one aspect that looked super-interesting…even the one based around kids having dance battles. www.youtube.com/channel/UC7pddu3yyzkzFEiXfQLex3w

LOL, I just started rewatching Gaim. I remember being iffy on the whole dance battle thing when it originally aired, but it wound up being one of my favorites. It does build up the stakes as it goes along and the kids realize things aren't just a game. I love all the thematic stuff around "forbidden fruit" myths, and it's one of those shows that's more about Riders fighting each other which is always fun.

New Super Sentai will be based on the tale of Momotaro. That's all fine, but it looks like Pink and Black will be CG characters? They've been messing with having non-human characters such as in Kyuuranger and Zenkaiger, but they were still actors in suits. Sentai is not known for high fidelity CGI, so this makes me... uneasy.

For anybody wanting to watch Kamen Rider, but not sure where to source things, I ran across this gigantic ur-torrent of everything almost up to the end of Saber. www.tokyotosho.info/details.php?id=1578360Can't promise it's necessarily the best version of everything, but hey it's all in one place and it's seeded.

So, thanks for the recommendation for Black. About 25 episodes in and it’s a perfect sort of “filler” series that I can just fire up 1 or 2 episodes when I have a few spare moments.
Finished the excellent OOOs and now we’ve moved on to Den-O, which is pretty fun so far.
Also really enjoying Revice. The most recent arc that focused on Deadmans Julio was outstanding.
And, I’ve taught one of my beagles, Flint, a new trick.

I wish I could teach my beagle tricks. The closest I've been able to teach him is to fart on command.
