Generations Selects: "G2" Megatron Hot House Greasepit
Greasepit is a lot more successful at looking like something different from the original figure than Hot House is. They didn't even give Hot House any new parts, or a new alt mode configuration. He's just Airwave.

If you want a good and reliable shoulder clip to go with your G2 Megs to get that cannon to sit on his shoulder... You can snag one here. www.ebay.com/str/jrcdesignIt's pretty good.

I like that they got rid of the plastic inserts in the packaging. Not only is this environmentally friendly, but now I can flatten everything out so it takes up less space in my chronically overflowing recycling bin. YES! Not only that, it is much easier getting the figure out. I opened ER Thrust and I had to fight him trying to wrestle him out of that form fitting plastic shell. I lost my hobby knife or I will have cut him out. If you want a good and reliable shoulder clip to go with your G2 Megs to get that cannon to sit on his shoulder... Snagged one of these myself. My G2' Megs fusion cannon is a little loose in the forearm peg, so this should do nicely.

Kingdom Optimus Primal
That marks wave 1 complete (at least for what I wanted in wave 1)

Kingdom Megatron, Primal, Cheetor and Blackarachnia.
I can't tell you how much I hate that these size classes continue to shrink and the compromises that have to be made because of it. Primal's swords not able to store in beast mode, the loss of Cheetor's belly gun, the tiny tabs that are stressing and ready to break after only a couple of transformations, etc. I know the main draw here is screen accuracy, but I would have liked to see a balance between the original toys and the animation models in figures that were big enough to accommodate both.

ER Cheetor ER Rattrap ER Core Optimus Buzzworthy Bumblebee SS86 Hot Rod FunPub Burn Out
Real quick thoughts:
Cheetor is fine. Honestly, this was never my favorite Cheetor form. ANY of them, I preferred the Transmetals version. But, he's fine. I guess?
Rattrap is perfectly good for a $10 toy. As the new replacement class size, they're roughly the same size as the Legend class, but I wish they could have kept the 5mm hands.
Core Optimus is the same. He's decent, nothing to write home about.
Studio Series 86 Hot Rod... I'm... I'm... I'm not a fan. It's hard for me to say that, but it's true. It's not the size that he's a large Deluxe in a Voyager price. I couldn't care about that. (Well, I KINDA do.) It's just... He feels like I'm playing with a Gundam model and not an action figure. He feels fragile, like if I put too much pressure in the wrong way, he'll break too easily. PotP Rodimus wasn't perfect, but at least I could abuse that thing. Same with Core Optimus and BuzzBee. (Cheetor and Rattrap at least they're lanky characters to explain that "thin" feeling with them.) And this may be a problem I've encountered with the Studio Series sets.
Other than Jazz and Scourge, I'm good with the Titans Returns guys for the movie gang.
Oh, and Buzzworth Bumblebee? He's fun. He's just a goofy little toy, nothing fancy, but nothing infuriating. He's good.
And as for Burn Out? I've been slowly collecting the "Diaclone" versions of everyone, and I'm only missing Road Rage. And I'm thinking with the new Tracks coming out soon, we'll get her as a Generations Selects deal.

Studio Series Hot Rod Kingdom Cyclonus
Pretty good overall, though Cyclonus has a couple panels that aren't completely snug in jet mode. Seems to be a common thing, but not a dealbreaker
