I'm just wondering if anyone else caught the premiere this last weekend. I didn't even know this was a thing until I caught a preview trying to find info on DuckTales season 3 premiere (which is still unknown at this point).
But I went back and caught the premiere and while it was nothing groundbreaking, I didn't find myself hating it. I'm not much on the trend of simple artwork, but the art in this show looks like it had some effort behind it with an anime feel. Story-wise, it got a few laughs out of me and it actually has me curious what episode 2 might be like.

I watched the first two episodes OnDemand today.
It's certainly has charm, even if the "be yourself" message lost most of its subtlety in the pilot. I'll probably check out subsequent episodes, but I already won't be surprised if it's next season is guaranteed. So far, it doesn't look like it has some big, season- or series-wide plot, but neither did Star vs. The Forces of Evil, at first. If it does, fine, but if it doesn't, that's also fine.

Renewed for season 2 right before the series premiere actually. I've been keeping current on the series and each episode has its ups and downs but I haven't seen anything that completely turns me off on the series overall.
