As usual, stuff gets spoiled due to toy shows. Not surprising considering this film was recently pushed back from March to November, I'm sure the toys were ready to go. I believe these blurry phone pics were from a show in Hong Kong. Anyway....spoilers below. So, looks like we have a Skullcrawler and maybe a new titan with those red spines, although to me it looks like a new form for Godzilla, or like he's wearing some kind of harness. The mechanical looking titan is the big spoiler as that is supposedly the Monsterverse version of MechaG. Getting from where the series was to MechaG is a big jump in terms of technology so it will be interesting to see how this is explained. I thought there might be a significant time jump, but some of the characters from G:KotM will be returning, so who knows?

That red spiked Godzilla looks like a Dino-Rider type harness to me as well. Mecha-G's design reminds me of how Varan looked in the NES Godzilla game but I don't hate it. I was hoping the end of KoTM was setting up Mecha-Ghidorah before unleashing Mecha Godzilla but again, I'm not too torn up. Definitely looking forward to see how the movie turns out. I hope it being delayed will be worth the wait.
I'm looking at the box sitting next to the red harnessed Godzilla and it looks like it reads Mecha Godzilla too. I wonder if the harness is meant to be something like a brainbox from said Dino-Riders.

The Kong pictured with the harnessed Godzilla has a harness as well. I'm guessing humans try to control Kong and G to fight other titans, but because of science and its hubris everything goes to shit.

Monsterverse fans are now in a panic since the final Craig Bond film has been pushed back to November. The studio is afraid of poor box office results thanks to good ole COVID-19. "No Time to Die" now opens just 5 days after GvK. GvK was going to have a 2 week cushion before Eternals opened, now 007 is taking that away. After the underperformance of GKotM, another poor showing could spell D-O-O-M for the Monsterverse.

I imagine alot of movies might end up taking box office hits until this virus is under control and it might take a while for it to bounce back. I saw on the news that officials are asking people to avoid gatherings including movie theaters and I could definitely see a difference at our local theater this afternoon. Hardly anyone was there for the afternoon matinees.

I'm surprised KotM did so poorly. I really enjoyed it, and the casting is amazing especially for fans of genre films (Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby-Brown, etc).

Holy crap. Was that...was he holding a... March 26 cannot get here soon enough. I'm going to fire up the HBO Max app, order some pizza, and I'm going to watch this with my dad. He was down in the dumps the other day because he can't go to the theaters much anymore and there is not much new on at the moment. Seeing the smile on his face when he saw the trailer might just be what the doctor ordered.
