Is he going to come back as a Zombie giraffe first, then come back normal like? Or is it going to be more like Revenge of the Fallen where someone briefly goes to Toy Store Heaven in order to revive him?

Huh. I was thinking this was going to be like when the Twinkie went away.
But I guess it'll be like if the Twinkie went away, and then came back, but renamed "Addictive Chemical Spongecake of Delight."

Fuck Toys R Us. Fuck the scumbag executives into the ground with an angry Honey Badger, and may their genitals be devoured by starving raccoons.

Ah yes, that would be Bain Capital, the same lenders who basically drove it under in the first place and are now seeing if they can ride some sort of "Hostess-like" comeback hype with silly Spirit Halloween kind of stores.
Yeah. Fuck these guys.

From all reports, a lot of the toy companies are really unimpressed with this stunt. Mattel's the angriest, given how badly the closure hurt their profits, but the others are close behind. This latest round of beating the dead horse may struggle to find suppliers for their stock.

Huh. Guess "renting" space in other stores saves on costs.
The hanging signs look a lot like what Pick 'n' Save has been using in recent years, but I've never been to one that had 50 aisle or more (so either it's a BIIIIIIG store, another under the same family like Mariano's, or it's a completely unrelated coincidence).
