Mine is still about 75-80% stocked, discounts up to 30%. They actually just stocked Incredibles 2 and Jurassic World stuff. I've been reading reports that the warehouses may finally be empty.

I was out and about today, decided to pop into the local one for one last visit.
Some departments are wiped out, but the majority was pretty well stocked.
And in many cases even at clearance, still just as expensive as full price at Target or Wal-mart.
Gee, can't figure out why they're going out business at all.

Went into my local store today, now the discounts are 50%-70% off. There were a lot of empty shelves, merch pushed together, fixtures on sale (even old chairs, probably from the break room or an office or something), office stuff like small bins for pens and so forth.
I chuckled at how much of the DC Movie action figures were still on the hooks, but then, there were other things that didn't seem like they were moving all that fast, like some Star Wars stuff, some Funko POPs (in particular, TRU exclusives of Teen Titans GO! Trigon, Jinx, and Blackfire), and A LOT of Rick and Morty portal guns (and Rick masks...lots of Rick masks). The guns were one of those items I figured I'd buy at discount (about $12) then sell for just below the $25 retail on eBay, but I have enough of those kind of purchases, and usually I don't really walk away with oodles more money than I initially paid. Heck, I don't even know if the TRU POPs I bought a couple months back will really go for more than $15+shipping.
Thought about maybe pulling he trigger on an Adventure Time video game for the 360, but didn't...maybe I'll head back in there again in a couple days (if I happen to be in the area) and snatch it up...and if I read some favorable reviews.

I was in my local TRU a few days ago & nearly the entire store had been condensed into 7 aisles.
End of an era.

I had a chance to go to my nearest TRU while at a doctor's appointment last week and I just couldn't do it. Despite all the issues they've been through, I have a lot of good memories of TRU and I'd rather my last memory of TRU be when I was there a few months back when they were still well stocked and had just what I was looking for (Studio Thundercracker) instead of a picked over half empty store a week away from shuttering.

Huh. There's actually a Party City attached to the mall where my local TRU is situated. They wouldn't have very look very far...

I keep seeing where all these pop-up and seasonal stores are going to come in to supposedly fill he void, but has anyone ever been into a pop-up store with any sort of decent selection of new or desirable toys? For randos out and about looking for rando toys during Christmas it's fine, but collectors and people looking for the newest, hottest thing are still out of luck.

Well I remember when 99% of all the in state KBs closed down they still did the pop up toy areas in Sears at Christmas. Thanks to one of those pop ups, I did find the Energon repaints of Armada Demolishor and Cyclonus. On the flip side, I do remember going into one of the TRU Express stores at a nearby mall. Not much there and what they did have was way more pricey than the regular stores.
