.... well, when you put it that way you make a certain (depressing) amount of sense.

Reminds me of Dark Angel with it’s all consuming hate-on for guys. Not even just the bad guys, but like every guy in the pilot episode (because that’s all I could stomach to watch). My fav moment was when the main character, whatever her name was, (Dark Angel person)- her neighbor tells her that her husband is sickly and all that, and that she has to do everything to care for him. Her neighbors look to be an elderly couple, so for all we know, this guy could be on his death bed. Her response- “Don’t forget- we are the stronger sex of the species. Haha!” I was just like - yeah, ok. Grrrl Power. The only other nice guy on the show was crippled immediately in pilot to make sure he had to rely on her all the time.
Never heard if it got any better, but I was so annoyed with it, that I never watched it again.

This seems not particularly better or worse than the other CW superhero shows. If you're not burnt out on the formula... here you go.

If you don't know, Cyber Six was a badass comic from Argentina that had an equally bad ass show on Fox Kids around the same time Beast Machines was on there. It's highly suspected that James Cameron ripped off Cyber Six for Dark Angel, and there's some pretty... blatant comparisons that gives it a lot of credence. The creators tried to sue, but let's face it... They're two indie artist from South America trying to sue Fox and James Cameron. They didn't have the funds. ANd none of that matters any more, as both artist have died and no one knows who owns the rights to Cybersix now.)

Ah, see I didn’t know. I thought Cyber 6 was some code name they had for Dark Angel in the show. Sounds like they ripped off a cool comic and made it suck.

So I finally got a chance to watch the trailer. I want to like it. There’s some good moments. But ehh... ehh... trying too hard? I saw Ruby in Resident Evil 6 and liked her there (despite that being an awful movie). She looks like she could be a good superhero. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the formula reels in an audience again. But as of now it’s kinda just putting me off of it.
The whole defiant attitude- like, okay? Cuz Bruce Wayne was really keeping her down? More like she broke into his vault and then started messing with all his stuff. But sure. He’s totally keeping her down. Except for the fact that he’s MIA the whole time. Meh.

This seems not particularly better or worse than the other CW superhero shows. If you're not burnt out on the formula... here you go. Yeah, I'm kind of burned out on the formula at this point. The only show that seems to buck the formula is Legends, but they've gone a little too far into the realm of infrequent use of costumes and main characters not based on pre-existing heroes. Like the kids in the audience in last week's finale said "I thought this was a Superhero show."
