SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!
Better late than never, or something, right? I was reminded Machinima had done these thanks to YouTube recommendations, and I started a binge a few days ago. Finished up the last of it earlier today.
Combiner Wars: This...this is easily the weakest of the three. It would be even if it didn't have two other story arcs afterwards. Seemed really slow, their rules for Combiners are not well-established (though that's a constant in all three; most of the time they don't separate, and there's little regard to the individual bots), two Combiners die, then just come back...because whatever...and...yeah, can't say much else. Pretty sure they got Honest Trailers guy to voice Prime, and I thought he did a fine job.
Titans Return: Marked improvement. The Cybertronians all have more personality to them, Hot Rod sounded just like Rodimus from the IDW comics ought to (and heck, Megatron, too, now that I think about it), the action was done much better, I was far more engaged than with Combiner Wars, and it generally had a better flow.
Power of the Primes: Just as good as Titans Return, at least. Also nicely paced, genuine emotion...OPTIMUS PRIMAL! I was basically spoiled to his appearance by the thumbnails, and I would've lost my expletive if they got Garry Chalk to voice him...but they didn't. Kinda sounded like Gary Anthony Williams, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. Grimlock waving Megatron around...that was most certainly a highlight of the series. And episode nine. EPISODE NINE! Wasn't sure they'd do it, but they done did it. Also, for entities that are comprised of multiple bots, Combiners die crazy-easily. But on the reverse of that...is there a Prime husk just lying around a Cybertronian morgue now? Because that...what they did there was weird. You'll know when you see it.
There was a tease at the end that leaves the door open for another series. And I wouldn't exactly say no to it, if they keep up the quality. The lip-sync was mostly way off, but a few times seemed much more accurate, and the animation wasn't that different from the recent RiD series.
