Yeah, I've seen the reviews and like... maybe if Prime was on sale, I might get him? But he doesn't look like he does enough to justify me getting him at full price. Megatron, by comparison, has a lot of stuff going for him and I'll be keeping a look out.

I picked up two of the Micromaster sets, the Decepticon jets and the Autobot tanks. They're nifty little guys. The combined forms are dumb as weapons, but work fine as a Dreadwind-style super-jet and a similar sort of super-tank. Hopefully the other sets will lend themselves to similar interpretations. I only wish the joints were universal like the old Micromaster Combiners.
The only thing is that Visper seems to have a design flaw. The swing bar for the front section of the plane is too long, leaving a gap. It also causes the tabs in the nose to not line up with the slots on his feet, making a proper transformation pretty much impossible. I hacked it by just cutting the tabs out, which makes it so the legs don't solidly attach, but the hips are stiff enough that it doesn't really matter. A more ambitious repair would be to try to cut and shorten that swing bar. It might be doable, but it's a small part that would need a metal pin for strength.

But my DeLorean does :/

After playing with the deluxe, I have to say these are some of best bots we have had in a long time!!!
Hard to pic a favorite between Hound and Sideswipe.

An actual, proper Impactor. FINALLY! Now that I'll buy. So we should get an actual Rack 'n Ruin by, what, 2044?

Omega looks amazing, I LOVE the Countdown/rocket base reference. But Impactor, wow. I've wanted that figure for a very very long time. They even left the garish as hell original comic color scheme! Yes please.
