Console Wars and the PC/Console divide are some of my most annoyed reactions. Especially when you get "console exclusives", which can die in a fire altogether.

Yeah, the PC/Console one annoys the shit out of me. There are some people who want the top notch experience, and don't mind making tinkering with the computer part of the hobby. There are others who don't want to fuck with the computer, and just want to play the game even if it means sacrificing a bit of graphical quality. Both are valid positions.
I personally prefer consoles because tinkering with PC games has always pissed me off. Like since I couldn't play Wing Commander because our 386-based NEC PC didn't have a math coprocessor. Obviously I don't lack for capability when it comes to computers. But I play games to relax, and when I need to relax, I need the computer the fuck out of my way.

Left Twix vs Right Twix. It was dumb when they first came up with it & it’s still dumb now. Most other companies would have moved on to their next ad campaign, but not Twix. They’re determined to make it a thing.

They’re determined to make it a thing. Not only is it dumb it doesn't even make sense.. they're.. packaged vertically (assuming the font is top and bottom) and you open it along the side. And you can open it at either end meaning at that point either one can be the "left" one. ...I'm overanalyzing something stupid here.

Here is something I don't understand. Diet Coke vs. Coke Zero. I know they're both sugar free but while they might taste different (never tried to confirm) is there any point having two coke produfts that serve pretty much the same purpose being sugar free?

Checking Wikipedia, it looks like the intention was for Zero to taste just like regular Coke, but still be a diet alternative. I guess some people really don't like the taste of diet.

Well they failed on both counts, because neither diet nor zero coke taste like regular coke. They just can’t match it!

Diet Coke has aspartame in it. Certain people taste it as bitter, not sweet. I can speak for this being true cause I'm one of those people. Diet Coke is heinous to me. Zero tastes vaguely coke-like, at least.

Which is always interesting when waiters mix up which of us got Diet and which got regular because of course the lady at the table would be trying to watch her weight and drinking Diet.

If some people have this aversion to Aspartame, it surprises me that don't ax Diet in favor of Zero. I personally don't like Diet or Zero Coke. If I have to drink a diet soda, it has to be diet Pepsi or plain unsweetened ice tea.
