CN put the first two episodes up on their app. I decided to give it a try and I still don't like it. The comedy was too forced IMO. Even if it was other generic characters and not Thundercats, I still don't think it would be funny. Also not a fan of the art style. I'm not going to go nuts on hating it , I'll just say I didn't like it. The one GOOD thing about the series is the music as most of it is music from the 80s series.

I watched it too.
I didn't hate it, but... It's not for me. If the kids like it, that's cool.

Just watched it, and while there were moments that I thought could be enjoyable and Lion-O's chuckle could be rather infectious, I was never particularly entertained. It felt like it has the same problem of being too fast, like that MagiSwords cartoon. The voice cast was okay, even if the material sounded like something from an abridged series with A.D.D., but this isn't isn't likely to change anyone's mind.
I don't see this being a critical watch for me. At most, I might try another couple episodes when they're available (I've given worse a chance).

I see a lot of longtime fans raging, but really- this is most likely going to be short-lived, come & go with almost no promotion or fanfare, & quietly be forgotten. Right now the raging fans are doing more to bring attention to this show than CN. If this didn’t have the name ThunderCats slapped on it, it would probably collect dust on the CN app until it died.
Anyway, here’s hoping the next reboot actually tries.

Well... Yeah.
I think we all really saw this coming.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

Yeah, that was uncool. The creators literally aired their grievances about the fans to an audience of children. Don’t drag the kids into it. Maybe try being adults and I don’t know- be more mature than that?

Maybe try being adults and I don’t know- be more mature than that? I mean, I've heard/seen some of the nasty stuff they've said about the show and the people behind it, and while I think they go overboard, this feels a lot like feeding the trolls. And maybe patting themselves on the back while they're at it. It isn't meant to be taken seriously, of course, but it isn't hard to use this as jab against them. But hey, mayhaps I should try that. Just put out a video by saying all other comic reviewers are crap-for-brains and that I'm the bestest ever forevers. No one watches anyway, so what harm could it do?

The funny thing, when the Titans Go did it... They embraced it and admitted that the older show was better and that they suck now. And they made it funny too.
This just seems... Tragic. And the dig at the 2011 Lion-O was also kinda low. It's like, hey... At least TC2011 got a second season!
