Is that Psycho Pirate's mask? Some at the Outhouse have made a similar guess, but there was one post that featured him, and it wasn't as detailed as the mask Superman is holding. Classically, Anarky has had a mask similar to that, but what I think may eliminate either of them from being a victim is that length of cloth, white-but-bloodstained. That may be part of the costume. If It's Pirate or Anarky, then we'll see them or a successor down the line. But, it could be an original character that dies, and the importance isn't on who is killed, but on the difficulty of unraveling the mystery. There may be more clues on the cover, like the house in the far background. Quaint-looking enough to be the Kent farm (though Ma and Pa are still dead), but no signs of a barn or animals. It's so isolated it could be freakin' Kame House (especially if that's supposed to be water behind it. And if you look close to the far-back-left, you can see Alfred and Red Robin. Guess they don't get to be too close to the mask like Batgirl, Robin and Nightwing.

So, about Heroes in Crisis...Also, SPOILERS about Flash #51, so if you're reading that...maybe don't read this first. ... ... ... ... ... We good? Okay, here we go. According to a ComicBook.com article (that someone linked to at the Outhouse), Flash #51 seems to "basically confirm" which Flash will die in Tom King's story (because "you can't have a Crisis without a Flash dying" or some garbage). "Near the end of The Flash #51, Wally is convinced to stop running by Barry, along with an assist from Superman and Wonder Woman. Superman and Wonder Woman offer to get him help, and promise that some time at Sanctuary will help him. Sanctuary is a mental health facility, built for the heroes and villains of the DC Universe. It uses Kryptonian technology, modified by Batman and embracing Amazonian philosophies, so that its AI nurses can provide therapy for the super-beings who find themselves embroiled in violent conflicts on a daily basis. And the premise for Heroes in Crisis is that there is a "slaughter" at Sanctuary, leaving a number of heroes and villains dead, and two heroes who were on site getting help are the prime suspects. The heroes are Booster Gold and Harley Quinn, which means that when The Flash #51 features an editorial note that Wally's story will continue in Heroes in Crisis #1, it seems likely he will be a victim of this mass killing." As to a bunch of heroes and villains being slaughtered...I shudder to think of any notable characters they'll kill off because it'd give some editor an erection, but I wonder if they'll be no-name types, newbies that were made just for the story. As for Wally's demise...seems to me that he could easily be a suspect, but then you have Dan Didio's comments at SDCC about Wally "not being long for this world." Honestly, how do readers still tolerate this no-wit being in charge?
