I've been watching this pretty regularly, to be honest. (Mainly because Hasbro puts it up on their YouTube site the day after it airs. All the episodes are there.)
Okay. It's not bad. It's grown on me. There's still a lot of rough spots in there, but there's a lot to really like about it. They take a ton of cues from the IDW comics. If I had to compare it to something... I'd say... Armada. It's not as fun as NuRiD or even Rescue Bots. But it's... It's okay.

What Mach said. The toyline sucks for sure, but the series isn't too bad. Last week's episode on Velocitron was actually a pretty good one, IMO. That ending though....I don't want to spoil it but damn.

The show is growing on me a bit. It’s not great by any stretch, but they keep tossing in little bits of lore and references that keep me interested. I also like how they’ve developed the friendship between Windblade and Bumblebee. Windblade feels like she really fits here as opposed to how they’ve been cramming her into everything recently. (The retroactive inclusion of her in 1980’s based G1 is especially irritating).
Also, I think the fact that it’s essentially 10 minute long shorts helps it out and works well with the flashback heavy format they’re using.

So an expansion of the line was revealed yesterday, with what looks to be a slew of fully transforming figures in that neat mid-Scout/Deluxe range (the 1-step size?) complete with neat armor add-ons. Three sizes, the battle class, the elite class, which is basically more complex vehicle armors, and one big Ark thingie. LINK TO ARTICLECharacters revealed are: Battle Class: ($15) - Prowl with starfighter armor - Jetfire with tank armor - Starscream with bulldozer armor - Sky-Byte(!) with drilltank armor Elite Class: ($25) - Bumblebee with Space Battleship Yamato armor. (I'm not kidding!) - Optimus Prime with Skystriker armor? - Megatron with Spinister armor? And lastly Ark Power Optimus Prime, which is basically Prime with Ark armor at $50. Honestly, other than the Ark Armor prime... I'll probably get everyone of these. I'm sure we'll find out more this weekend at toy fair.

- Bumblebee with Space Battleship Yamato armor. (I'm not kidding!) I may be compelled to buy this because the concept is so ridiculous. Talk about mass shifting!

- Bumblebee with Space Battleship Yamato armor. (I'm not kidding!) Eh... I dunno about that. i think it's just a regular battleship with some extra kibble for the armor mode. I don't see any sign of the wave motion gun or the big rear thruster that would signal it's a "space" battleship.

Quit ruining my nerd fantasy with your logic, and be glad I didn't call it the Argo, you bastard.

I mean if we really want to piss on Mach's parade it almost looks like a pre-Dreadnaught turn of the 20th century battleship as it lacks centerline main gun turrets and sports a whole bunch of varying calibers, including side mounted barbettes that's gone through a bizzare modernization rebuild of the superstructure and conversion to a gas turbine (or nuclear) powerplant.
