Do the signs look anything like this? (No, I haven't seen any of the show.)

Eh. All signs pointed to that 2 weeks before the debut. More of a mercy killing than a cancellation. I hope Loeb doesn't let Scott Buck near any more Marvel properties, he just sucks at them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Scott Buck the dipnozzler that was in charge of Iron Fist? (Or as I like to call it, the entertaining drama of Ward Meacham and that annoying hobo that keeps bothering him.)

Black Panther made over $500 million worldwide in the first week, biggest Marvel Studios opening week to date.
Joss Whedon has left the Batgirl movie. I don't think it really matters at this point.
The Doom Patrol has been cast in the Titans series.
Here's a look at Brainiac from Krypton.

Oh, good. They're involving time-travel. Because telling someone how their grandson is going to be the greatest superhero ever, after their planet blows up, wouldn't have an effect on the time-stream or causality or anything.
Ugh. If trying to mimic the look of the movies wasn't enough of a deterrent, "Exposition Hoodie Man" doesn't help.
As for Whedon...I'm not sure I want a Batgirl movie. Sure, I've got ideas (as anyone who's seen my recent reblogs on Tumblr may've noticed), but the people they've been on the DC movies thus far...yeah, I'd like to wait until they can be more consistently good. I could tolerate a bad Barbara-centric film more than I could if it were focused on Cassie.

Disney has moved Infinity War up from 5/4 to 4/27 giving it a worldwide day & date release. Poor Dwayne Johnson now only has one week to make bank on Rampage before it gets buried. This might help Deadpool 2's opening, though, on 5/18.
Disney also peed on may trees yesterday claiming release dates for all it's Disney, Pixar and Marvel films through 2023. There are 6 new yet-to-be-named Marvel movies in there. A couple of then had better include at least four main cast members.
Jessica Jones S2 starts on March 8th, Krypton starts on SyFy on March 21st, and Freeform has set Cloak & Dagger for June 7th, 10 episodes.

Here's a look at Brainiac from Krypton. For a moment, I thought Braniac was voiced by Jeffrey Combs.
