The only thing I've had the misfortune of seeing him in is Twilight (had to "watch" one of those with an ex, spent most of it MST3King it silently to myself), so I'm not a huge fan of this announcement, but eh, I also didn't see Ruffalo as Banner or Ledger as the Joker on the initial name drop and both of those turned out fantastic, and the (currently listed) director of this new Batmovie was also responsible for the last 2 Planet of the Apes films which were *incredible*, so I'm gonna try to give it the benefit of the doubt.

From CW's up front....
Deathstroke getting an animated series on CW Seed
Batwoman paired with Supergirl on Sundays. They're either going tho call that night "World's Finest" or "Super Inclusivity Sunday and F*** You and Your Straight White Male Cisgen Privilege if You Don't Like It". Or something like that.
Black Lightning moves to Monday, Flash and Arrow paired on Tuesday. Arrow's last season just 10 episodes. Legends comes back mid-season
Crisis on Infinite Earths....5 episodes encompassing the 5 Arrowverse shows, NOT Black Lightning, although we have no idea what kind of cameos we'll see. Parts 1-3 air before the Christmas break, parts 4-5 in January 2020. I assume that means the Arrow series finale and the first episode of Legends will be the crossover episodes.
If you dropped out on Arrow, this season's finale showed Oliver and Felicity leaving Star City to raise their newborn daughter, Mia, in safe seclusion. After Mia's birth, the Monitor came to collect Ollie to serve in the Crisis while also revealing he was destined to die. After a tearful farewell, Ollie left Felicity to raise Mia alone. 20 years in the future, after saying goodbye to Mia and Oliver's son, William, older Felicity meets with Monitor who takes her somewhere to reunite with Ollie. This was Emily Bett Rickards last show as a series regular. It will be interesting to see what the last 10 episodes of Arrow are all about and if they're all Crisis-related. Ollie's tour of the multiverse? Will Ollie and Felicity go off to live happily in a pocket dimension like Earth-2 Clark and Lois did in the comics?

No word on that possible Sixth Season Tara Strong and others talked about last year, but there's this...
Maybe there'll be some clue in the Blu-ray as to whether or not they'll revive the '03 series, but I haven't heard anything since "if GO! To The Movies does really well". It made almost three times its budget domestically alone, and more than five times globally, but it's not like there was a dollar goal set. That number may not've met Warner Bros.' expectations. I'd hate to think that the idea was just a ploy to get people to go to the theatre...but then, I saw it for free, so no big deal on my end.

So there's a poster for the upcoming Picard series... Am I the only one hoping that the dog will be named "Number 1"? Also, in an unrelated show's news, there's a poster for the upcoming Steven Universe TV movie, confirming that there will be a time skip. There's some construction going on in Beach City, and Steven's grown some. Also, a clearer look at the antagonist.

In her fifth (and final?) season, Supergirl loses the skirt. I'm okay with this, I don't mind giving her pants...but the real question is, can they explain this choice in-show without the writers feeling they need to condescend to their audience while applauding themselves for their opinions? Okay, they CAN, so the REAL real question is, WILL they?

To be fair, Ollie and Barry have updated their costumes multiple times, so Kara was due.
