From the rumors I've heard? The decision was decided long ago to rehire him back, like not long after it happened. And they only told Gunn to keep his mouth shut, go get another gig and that this one was gonna happen, but they had to bide their time a bit. If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. Gunn, while disappointed, kept quiet about it all. Bautisa was fuming and angry, every day, complaining about it... Rightfully so, I might add... The rest of the cast wasn't happy either. And then suddenly, everyone stopped saying anything. Even Bautisa. And now, five days before the date Fox officially becomes Disney's, after the Government approved the buyout... He's back. I think they were lying low, waiting for this Fox deal to be finished, and then flip the alt-right, sexist assholes who caused this the bird. I'm sure the review bombing of Captain Marvel by the same assholes didn't hurt in making their mind up to announce this now. And best of all? We're not only getting a good GotG3, but a good Suicide Squad movie as well! I do love that Even back when it happened, I thought something was up. Gunn took his firing too well. His whole career with Disney was suddenly in tatters, and he was surprisingly calm and accepting of the whole situation. I speculated back then that they would keep him on even if it meant keeping him out of the limelight & removing his name from the credits. The dude makes good movies for them, that rake in a ton of money. And it’s not like his “crimes” were anything serious. Anyway, glad he’s back and they’re all back on track.

Is EVERYONE getting a show on Disney+? Rumor has it that Scarlet Witch & Vision, Loki, Falcon & Bucky and (possibly) Fury will now be joined on the service by Hawkeye, with Jeremy Renner reprising the role of Clint Barton as he passes the mantle to (presumably) Kate Bishop.
In about two years...Disney+ Young Avengers to DC Universe Titans - "Hold my beer."

Hey man... If the Disney+ shows have the quality charm and wit that the movies have, and Hawkeye gives me the wit and clever writing that was in the Fraction, Lemuire and Thompson runs... I am so down with this on so many levels.
I think the Hawkeyes are the greatest duo of modern day comics. You put them both in a comic and you've guarantee a sale from me.

I mean, the biggest collective gripe I've really had with the movies is there's so many obscure characters that never get their moment in the sun by the nature of the medium and that the other Marvel TV shows never really were as connected as the original claim. If this resolves those issues and gives me that, yeah, I see myself subscribing.

Goodbye Netflix, hello Hulu. Besides the previously reported five Marvel animated shows, Hulu will also release two more live-action shows. Ghost Rider will see Gabriel Luna return as Robbie Reyes and Helstrom will feature Daimon and his sister, Ana (short for Satana, I assume). I'm sure both shows will see one hell of a crossover (ba-dum-bump). This Ghost Rider will be rebooted from his Agents of SHIELD appearance.
So between ABC, Disney+, Freeform and Hulu that's 15 Marvel shows that we know of, not even counting the currently MIA third season of Jessica Jones.

A lot of people are complaining about Ghost Rider, played by Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, being a "new iteration" of the character than the one on AoS.
New iteration ≠ reboot
NBC Constantine and Legends of Tomorrow's version of him are different iterations, despite being the same damned person. Seeing how the TV shows handles these things, they'll probably keep it one of those "vague enough things" that it still fits in continuity, but not requiring new viewers to watch AoS. (Which is honestly the smart thing to do.)

I was pretty pumped we were getting a Ghost Rider show. I was VERY pumped to see Luna/Reyes coming back. That was my favorite season of AOS and far truer to the character of Ghost Rider than the movies, new human host be damned (pun not intended).
