So, driving home from my second failed attempt to catch the new Jumanji movie a few weeks ago, I had this idea for this year of my review show. Essentially, this: So in collecting enough of crossover stuff from my collection, I grabbed the DC/Marvel/Amalgam stuff. Then I got to thinking about how it might be different if they wanted to try such a big versus event nowadays. 'Course with both publishers being so wonky of late (according to some hearsay as well as firsthand experience), they'd probably choose even dumber match-ups and outcomes. 'Course, I understand that certain heads of each company aren't exactly keen on even even crossing over one Marvel character with one DC...but I'm getting sidetracked. Okay, so, point of the thread: What Marvel/DC match-up would you like to see, that didn't/won't happen? And who do you think would win?If you want, you can even specify a certain version of a character, like you want Congorilla to fight Hank McCoy, but the version from Grant Morrison's New X-Men where he's a dye job away from playing half of "Beauty and the Beast". Or heck, if you'd like the idea of Cap-Wolf fighting B'Wana Beast. BEGIN! Attachments:

Fun topic! I’ve been out of the loop for a while, so don’t expect to see any modern era characters on my list.
Baby X-Men meet Young Justice kids (from the JLU ep “Kids Stuff”). - I say meet instead of vs, because I think this one could be played as a straight up comedy instead of a fight.
The Green Lantern Corps vs Franklin Richards - I was just gonna say Green Lantern since as far as I knew, Franklin has a similar ability to make his imagination into reality. Seems like a good match. Then I read up on Franklin a bit. They’ll need the entire Corps.
Grifter vs Deadpool - Two wildcards with a penchant for firearms & the color red. Telekinesis vs DP’s regenerative abilities. Could be cool.

Personally, I'd like to see John Constantine take on Scarlet Spider Kaine. Maybe not in a head to head fight, but I'd like to see them be forced to team up to save the day. Both claim to be heroes but are not above going down a darker path to do so. I'd like to see just how far both chracters would be willing to go to try to one up each other to get the win and save the day. You could probably even switch out Kaine for Ben Reilly now as well since he has walked on the dark side but now has an agreement with Death that sounds like something up Constantine's alley.

Just a little thread revival here...
A few years back, I mused how I would approach an animated adaptation of the big famous Vs. story, and naturally I wanted to make it less of a fan poll and more of a brawl that'd match opponents based on similar skill set and a victor would rise from that, not popularity. I mean, I liked Wolverine from the cartoon, but as my brother pointed out once or twice, Lobo's gone toe-to-toe with Superman. Nothing the Canuckle-head does would likely phase him, especially sans adamantium.
Then I remembered Wonder Woman being pitted against Storm, and that seemed like an incredibly unbalanced match. So I thought of a couple Marvel heroines more suited to the task. One of them would've been Rogue when she still had Carol Danvers' powers, and the other was...well, Carol Danvers. And if they WERE to do a DC/Marvel rematch of any kinds, I imagine the current Captain Marvel would be the one to fight Diana. Don't know enough about Carol, so my money would probably be on the Amazon.
