Big and Tall Autobot Logo shirt at Destination XLI know it seems like such a random topic. But for me, it's been hard trying to find Big and Tall clothing that fits me just right. It's even more frustrating trying to find certain theme shirts in my size as well. I've seen a bunch of pop culture themed shirts I would love to have gotten only to find they just go up to 2X and it would annoy the hell out of me especially when it comes to trying to find a Transformers shirt in my size (I wear a 3XL Tall). Believe me, I've been looking for years. This morning though, I happened to find a TF shirt (link above) that actually comes in Big and Tall sizes: Up to 6X or 5X Tall so I excitedly went ahead and ordered. I even found that JcPenney online has a small selection of some big and tall shirts too from DC, Marvel, Star Wars, and even a Jurassic Park logo shirt. But the point of this thread is really, has anyone else had this issue as well trying to find certain shirts in certain sizes only to be told they dont come in that size?

*pops up* Really? *Checks for DXL stores in Pittsburgh* Yes! There's one near where I'm moving to! And yes. YES. OH MY GOD YES, I have had to deal with bland and uninteresting T-Shirts and stuff for most of my life, being a 6'6", 3xLT guy I am. It drives me insane.

Most of my casual wardrobe for most of my life has been plain jane pocket T-Shirts. I do have a few tall size business casual shirts as well for when the situation warrants it. Another issue was for years, we did not have any big and tall shops locally and back before online ordering was big, I had to drive an hour and a half away to the nearest B&T shop and as pricey as they were, I couldn't buy more than one, maybe two, shirts at most. Oh, and found my second B&T purchase today. B&T Spider-Man shirt @ JCPenny

It never ceases to amaze me how this stuff doesn't come in "nerd sizes". I mean, who the fuck do they think is wearing it? Well, I guess everybody now. But before that? A buddy of mine had this problem as well until he recently lost a ton of weight, was a frequent topic of discussion between us especially as my weight was climbing up.

I used to hate, and still do depening on location, going in clothes shops because they wouldn't carry big sizes not only in the nerd shirts but in all of their products. There are still some stores that just refuse to carry any big and tall sizes. I know Wal-Mart is garbage trying to find anything that fits. I have seen they do have shirts that say "3X" but I dont know what size chart they are using but their 3X looks like a 1X or 2X at Big and Tall shops. Not to mention, the Wal-Mart shirts are short as hell too. If I was to wear one of their shirts, I'd look like a fatman cosplaying as Kim Possible. On the other hand, I know I do need to lose weight in a major way and I'm not getting any younger. I wish I had started doing something about it even 5 years ago before I ended up with some nerve damage in my leg due to a prolonged ruptured disc.

Yeah, my issue is that I'm in some weird twilight zone between "typical" sizes and the "big fellow" sizes. At a regular store the shirts and pants are usually too short, but at the big and tall stores everything is usually way too big. The shirts that fit me perfectly are XLT (Extra Large Tall) but those are as rare as unicorn farts. So, usually I have to settle for XXL which tend to flare-out at the bottom and make me look bigger than I am. Occasionally I'll stumble across an XXL T-shirt that's "athletic" or "fitted", and those are fine, but usually unless I want to spend a boatload I can't find stuff that actually fits me. So...back to the point at hand, any resource is welcome

Got in my B&T Transformers shirt in and IT FITS!! Bad news though....whoever applied the autobot logo graphic didnt have it lined up right and its badly off center. I contacted DXL and they said they would send out another tomorrow and I can compare it and send back the one I dont like. So far DXL customer service is amazing so I'll definitely be using them again.

Ok, quick update. I received a replacement Transformers shirt from Destination XL and this time the logo alignment was right but someone didn't have the decal laying perfectly flat when it was applied. One side was fine, the other side was skewed bad. I contacted them again and they said they would hand pick one. After 2 days, they messaged me and said their entire stock of TF shirts were messed up and would offer me another shirt if I wanted to return the two TF shirts. I returned the second one but decided to keep the first one. I mean when I'm I going to find another B&T TF shirt. I kind of wish they would have offered me a partial refund on the $33 I paid for it since it was defective but oh well. Hey, at least I do finally have a TF shirt.
