Star Wars is in a bit of a transition. Solo's box office was disappointing, The Last Jedi caused an ugly fan schism, and the opening of Galaxy's Edge at the theme parks has been met with an overwhelming "meh". The future of the films was going to Ryan Johnson, who wrote and directed Last Jedi, and Benioff and Weiss hot off disappointing millions of fans worldwide with their absolute shit finale for Game of Thrones. And who knows what past movie JJ has remade into The Rise of Skywalker. To put the cherry on the sundae, a recent report says that George Lucas gave Disney an outline for Ep VII-IX, but Disney tossed it out and now Lucas feels "betrayed". Oh my.....
But, fear not Star Warriors! Just announced, the Messiah of Marvel, Kevin Feige, will be producing a (yeah right, just one? Not likely!) future Star Wars film! It seems Kevin may have 7 minutes of free time without Spider-Man, so why not!
Are we one step closer to Patton Oswalt's Star Wars/Marvel crossover filibuster?
