I for one eagerly await the G1 prequel series where, before the outbreak of the war, they stand around in a senate chamber debating trade policy.

It turns out Megatron was just an innocent young bot who liked to race...

On one hand, they have Alan Oppenheimer who voice Skeletor in the original show (and voiced him awesomely!) and he's NOT doing Skeletor... But Moss Man? That's like casting Frank Welker in a Transformers cartoon and instead of voicing Megatron, he's voicing Seaspray. That just seems all sorts of wrong.
On the other hand, he's replaced with Mark Hamill, who may be one of the greatest voice actors alive and does memorable villains.
Huh.

Maybe he can't do that particular voice long enough to be a series lead any more.

I remember when there was controversy over Alan Young not being cast as Scrooge McDuck in the recent reboot, and people were overlooking the fact he was in his mid 90s. He might not even make it to the series debut... And he didn't.
