Rose Tico, however, is still the worst I loved Rose from the moment she pulled out the taser. As far as I'm concerned, the rest of the movie from then on supported my opinion. If Thrawn shows up, that means Ezra shows up. And if Ezra shows up, that means Sabine and Ahsoka. And that's what I REALLY wanna see. Old Lady Ahsoka teaching Rey the ways of the Jedi and how to accidentally seduce every woman she meets. I'm in!

Just saw it. Didn’t particularly like it. Didn’t particularly hate it. It just kind of...was. I did audibly whoop in the theater for a specific second-and-a-half cameo though. Now I get to wait through an agonizing week for the Mandalorian finale.

Saw it today. It's not the trash fire TLJ is, but it's not very good either. It's basically Star Wars: The Fan Service, and while there's a few parts of that I enjoyed, at times it felt forced at the expense of making, you know, a coherent and good film.

Saw it here and had an entertaining time, but I wasn't looking for a cinematic masterclass or anything.
Honestly, it felt like they went with a very safe narrative and I expect the fact that Rey's still the protagonist to ensure another year plus of angry man-children asking for this to be re-edited in a cut that removes any female characters.

I've seen Force Awakens and I just saw The Last Jedi on Netflix. I hate to be the wet blanket in this thread but I really don't have a desire to see this. It's not that I hate the characters or story but I'm just suffering from a bit of Star Wars burnout. I still haven't seen Solo either and don't really care for the Mandolorian. About 10 years ago though, I would have been excited to see Obi-Wan finally get a series but now, I'm not sure if that can even cure my burnout.
I think the one thing that might peak my interest in SW again is if Disney would finally release the original theatrical versions on DVD but I doubt that will ever happen.

...and don't really care for the Mandolorian. Stop. You're dead to me. Seriously though... I think the Mandalorian is the best Star Wars thing produced in... Ever. I think it's better than Rebels or any of the original trilogy. It's even better than the Cade Skywalker stuff. And not once does it make you think of Palpatine getting on with Order 69.

I guess I could have worded that different. To be fair, I have not seen the Mandolorian. It's mainly a combination of the burnout and having to subscribe to another online streaming service that keeps me from wanting to check that series out. I won't say I'll never watch it, but it's not something I have to see right now. I'm already going to have two online service subscriptions with Netflix and CBS (PICARD!!!) so I really don't want a third one right now.

Fair enough. We're balancing budgets for Picard too.
All I know is that if the Mandalorian and what we've heard about Picard being really that damn good are true... I'm willing to say the longterm future of these franchises may be in television.

I've thought that Star Wars would benefit from a show for a long time, but until recently the budget for it just wasn't viable. I'm FAR more interested in the concept of a few short shows in different time periods than the route the movies have taken.
Star Trek, the less said about the Kelvin timeline (or really, MOST of the movies in all honesty, now that I think about it), the better, so I'm curious to see how Picard goes.
