I should be excited but to be honest, I don't feel anything when I watch that. I don't love it or hate it. I was like that with episode VIII and Solo trailers (still haven't to see either of those). I enjoyed Rogue One though but after that, I've been numb to Star Wars.

Than i expected to. granted, part of that may be because it feels a lot like Feige is allowed to have a unified vision and all of the rumors are pointing to the SW division being a hot mess.

"The saga comes to an end"
Is there anybody stupid enough to think this will be the last movie? >_>

Well, in fairness, "The 9 episode saga that George Lucas originally envisioned, but that we ruined with bad storytelling choices, comes to an end, but we will continue to squeeze this lemon dry for decades" wouldn't fit on the screen.

Honestly, I've been enjoying all the Star Wars movies so far. Force Awakens, Last Jedi, Rogue One, Solo. This? I got to the end and I'm like "wait, what? We're getting Ian Macdiarmid back again?" And then I looked online and we were, so y'know what? I'm fucking pumped.

Needs more Finn. I would also like some Rose please. Although Rey kicking Kylos balls up through his throat will be welcome.

And then I looked online and we were, so y'know what? I'm fucking pumped. I liked Rogue One a whole lot, and I enjoyed TFA quite a bit even though it's basically a remake of ANH, and I REALLY like Rey. I think Daisy Ridley is terrific and I dig the fact we have a legitimate heroine as the star. But I had real, major issues with some of the storytelling and characterization in TLJ. Never saw Solo, had no desire to. I already KNOW Han's backstory. He very clearly tells you it thru TOT, I don't need to see these events happen. It looked ok but didn't excite me at all (and by most people I've spoken to confirm that it's "fine, but nothing great"). Plan on watching it when I get it for free on one of my streams or movie channels or something but in no rush. I would have been FAR more interested in the rumored Obi-Wan between trilogies movie which is dark ground I don't already know (not counting the comics/Clone Wars media), or something else random during the age of the Empire like RO. But yeah, I feel about SW like I do about Fire Emblem. Used to LOVE it, but the last few installments have really tempered that excitement a bit. I DID get pretty intrigued hearing the Emperor, though it really feels like an obvious "well shit, now we need a bad guy, lets go with an Emperor clone" since they unceremoniously offed Snoke with no real establishment of him as a character in the last one.

I have no issue with SW besides some of the stupid storytelling choices that have been made. In the prequels it was Anakin and Padme's romance which was not believable AT ALL, and Hayden's acting did nothing to sell it. Then there was the "she died of a broken heart" nonsense. In TLJ Luke, who spent a good portion of ROTJ trying to redeem his father, the second most evil guy in the galaxy, looks at his nephew years later and says, "nah, better kill him." Wha...? Also, the feud between Poe and Holdo was just dumb. I did like the reveal that Rey was no one special and that you don't have to be a Skywalker be strong in the Force, but that wasn't enough to save the film for me. Now the question is, does JJ try to undo the stuff the Rian Johnson did to appease fans and get asses back in the seats? The title of the this latest film and the Palpatine reveal seem to indicate that.
