Finally got around to seeing this one.
It feels a bit more loosely based on the initial team-up, taking a number of liberties, but none of them are bad. In fact, I'd say there are numerous details they did better than the comic. Though I could point to things like Leo's fear gas trip and Mikey wearing the cape and cowl as derived from the separate crossover of their (previous) animated counterparts. It had a lot of fun with the inherent silliness of both franchises (the comic had some fun, too, but I think it didn't get across as well because of the serious feel of the art style). Voice cast did a good job, and it had some...interesting sequel bait. And fortunately, they leave out the reminder that Bruce's parents are DEEEEAAADDD!!!
Pretty sure Donny killed a dude, though.

Well... The Turtles DO occasionally have to kill a mothertrucker.
But yeah, I liked it too!
(Can we please get Batgirl back to this costume?)

And you'd think that more than one guy probably didn't survive Babs' motorcycle body-slams.
Speaking of, yeah, as much I like nods to classic looks, I'm just not feeling the suit she has now. A large part of it is the mask, I think.

As far as the costumes go... Like Spider-Woman recently switched her costumes again, after having what I thought was a pretty good one.
It just feels like a buncha Rise of Skywalkers and Ghostbusters, where they'll get rid of the good practical stuff, for some fanwanky ones to make a buncha angry Gen X white dudes happy.
