Someone on Facebook actually argued with me that not only was X3 better, but it was leagues better than First Class. Yeah, you read that right. First Class. THere's a great argument for leaving Facebook, right there. Well, isn't it? I mean, sure, First Class had a "coherent story" and all that, but The Last Stand had Beast saying "oh my stars and garters". So...obviously it's the superior film. As for Wolvy Origins...well, I'm gonna just put this here. My brother got me hooked on "Bortposting" on Facebook, and this is one of the one's I made.

Origins wasn’t a great film, but I didn’t hate it. Might even pop it in every once in a great while.
But X3? I loathe X3. That’s a franchise killer right there. Anyone they didn’t kill off, they just took a colossal dump on. I’ll never rewatch it by choice.

They both suffer from stories that aren't as polished as they should've been. Though choosing to never rewatch? Yeah, I'm the same way with BvS. At least the bad X-movies I'll turn on if there's nothing else, or just to have something in the background, or sit through if my Dad has them on (more likely Origins; don't know if he's ever seen The Last Stand). Because they may be bad, but they aren't THAT bad. Or are at least fun to riff on.

Hehe I still haven’t watched BvS. Got it in the house (not my copy), but there’s never a good time to watch it.

HA!!
Any movie that uses jars of Lex’s own pee as a plot point can’t be all bad.

Saw it today. Recorded my thoughts to vlog later.
It's not great, but it's not Wolvy Origins laughably bad or Last Stand missed the mark bad. I'd say it's better than Apocalypse. There is a line about calling the team "the X-Women" that...well, it's a stupid line, even in context. But I imagine the same people who thought the "unofficial" cut of Endgame was a good idea are flipping out about it. Nightcrawler kind of goes ballistic, which I'd say is unlike him, but this reboot version doesn't get a lot of depth or insight. Though the same could be said of Sophie Turner's Jean Grey, and she's a central figure.
It definitely needed more polish, but overall, I'd say it lies in the middle of X-Men movies, from good to bad.

I was gonna ask if anyone actually saw this thing. From what I understand, it's not performing very well.
Right now, I think it's safe to say, that if your characters' name isn't Deadpool, Domino, Cable or Negasonic Teenage Warhead... You're getting a hard reboot.

I was gonna ask if anyone actually saw this thing. From what I understand, it's not performing very well. Everybody's focused on the future MCU X-Men at this point so this film never had a chance. Plus it was written and directed by the same guy that wrote The Last Stand. I don't know what Fox were thinking letting the same guy have another crack at the same story that's regarded as the worst X-Men movie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I am not seeing this one in the theater, I'd rather see Godzilla a third time.

I am not seeing this one in the theater, I'd rather see Godzilla a third time. When the wife asked me what I wanted to see for my birthday this Friday, I said Shaft, followed by Godzilla. Followed by MIB: International. Followed by John Wick 3. Followed by Aengers Endgame again. Followed by Rocketman again. Followed by Detective Pikachu again. Followed by Brightburn. Followed by Aladdin. Followed by whatever low rent, bad dub job 80s anime we can find on Amazon Prime. And then... Maybe if ALL of those options are exhausted and there's no other choices... We read some books instead.
