LEGO Voltron He can also split into each individual lion too. Price tag is $180 and ETA is 8/1. Only drawback I can see is no indication of including lego mini figure versions of the pilots. Also legs are not poseable they say.

Given the Lions transform and combine, the fact that it doesn't have poseable legs barely phases me. Like, that's hard enough as is.

Reminds me of how I made a transforming/combining MegaZord out of Legos as a kid. I even painted it with model paints, and painted some Minifigs as Rangers. My MegaZord was obviously not this cool though, even with the paint.

Yeah...that should be a hard pass for anyone despite the price. I've not heard anything good about HSANHE bricks. Personally, I can't wait for this to be available. Hopefully there will be LEGO VIP Member early-access for it. I love how the lions are numbered like the original toys from back in the day. I'm also surprised that the lions actually do transform and combine like the original Ideas submission. And a licensed Ideas set with 2321 pieces selling for $179.99 US is just unfathomably good. I was expecting something in the range of $250-$300 honestly. And I'm actually kind of glad that it doesn't include Minifigures, as that would have just bumped the price up. LEGO has repeatedly stated that the most expensive parts they produce are Minifig torsos, and their recent trend of packing sets full of an excessive amount of figures is just another factor helping to drive their set prices up. I do, however, think that they should have included pilots that were painted versions of the Minifig trophy accessory. That worked great with other huge vehicle builds like the Saturn V rocket and the SHIELD Hellicarrier. Still...if you absolutely NEED pilot (are we officially calling them Palains now?) Minifigs, chinese knock-off company Kopf has you covered Kopf Voltron Pilots

Minifig torsos are what... 6 parts in 2-3 colors? Torso front/back, 2 arms, 2 hands. Requires assembly and a tampograph. I can see that being pricey compared to bricks that just come out of the mold ready to go.
