My friend James was working at Dreamworks when this started production. (He wasn't on the show, He was working on the Trollhunters spinoff.) But he got to see a lot of the preproduction work and apparently, it's beautiful. (Though do not expect He-Man. That's apparently a direct order. No He-Man at all.)

I'm interested in seeing this, given the credit Netflix built up with Voltron.
Kinda sad that apparently they're avoiding the He-Man side of things there, but what can you do?

I wonder if the no He-Man order has something to do with the rights, at least movie rights, belonging to WB at the moment. I think its WB...or if its for something far simpler like wanting to see if She Ra can get out of the spotlight of her twin brother.

The source is Bounding into Comics. They have a LOOOOONG history of reporting rumors without verifying them at all. Also a history of severe misogyny. (They're basically known as the Comicsgate news source. Fuck those guys.)
Also, I've been following Noelle Stevenson and several of the creators on Twitter. Not a single one of them nor any other reputable news source, has even mentioned or attemptd to verify this claim.
Not saying Netflix isn't a bunch of buttholes who likes cancelling good shows after a second season. But I'm gonna need more than a buncha Comicsgaters and YouTube incel fanboys expressing their fantasy wishes here.
