If I could say one good thing about TC Roar is that they used the original music from the 80s series. The original series might not have aged well but the soundtrack was always epic I thought. To be honest, the fact they wanted to try a comedy type show didn't sit well with me but I could have accepted it but it was the animation style that I had biggest exception with. It just looks half assed with little to no effort.
But yea, Teen Titans Roar, that was definitely not the way to do it. They probably tried to win over the older audience using said original soundtrack but then to turn around and burn the fans was uncool. The fact they even put in the original Lion-O and got Larry Kenny to voice him by saying TC Roar was a worthy successor and those who did not agree had poop opinions was low. If he was not getting paid for the role, I wonder what his real opinion on TCR might be. But the kick in the nuts was the jab to TC2011, especially when they said no one cares about him either. I wonder if they even thought about getting Will Friedle for that bit or not. Studio might not wanted to pay for him but I kind of hope he would have declined out of principle.

And in the decades to come, I imagine fans will still talk about the original show and the 2011 reboot. TCR will only get mentioned as that thing that happened once and then forgotten.
