Finally something to add Value Village (surprise surprise) Boxed Horde Slime Pit. Was never used but the slime was gone. All the old paperwork, poster, and fanclub offer we're a really nice throw back. $4 instant nostalgia If the guys at THC dont tar and feather you I will! That was an amazing find! Might be a good thing the slime's gone. Probably old, dried, and crusty by now. If it was sealed, you can bring it back to life. It won't be a full tub, but it will still work. Retrotoy review opened one.

Metallic Gundam Paint Markers. Credit where credit is due... These motherfuckers KNOW how to make a paint marker and an amazing one at that. I used one of those to do the parts of my MG Strike Freedom's gold frame that weren't actually plated. It matches the plating fairly well, and I've used them since to touch up nub marks on plated parts (MG Hyaku Shiki 2.0) even though I do all my actual painting with an airbrush. Pretty sure I could just decant that paint and airbrush it, the metal in it is much finer than in Mr. Metal Colors. Those clog the fuck out of my brush, but I also have Ammo by MIG paints that are meant for airbrushing now. I can't say I liked the non-metallic Gundam markers as much. Using them to color the eyes on a clear eye part was fine, but getting them to actually cover over an existing color is damn near fucking impossible. You need to prime and repaint, no shortcuts to it.

I'm just amazed by the sheer quality of it. I painted up my cheap ass Authentics Starscream, just to test it out, and the metallic blue looks utterly gorgeous. Like... It looks like it was factory applied, but with the higher quality paints. And the reds? GOD... DAMN. I don't think I've ever used model paint this beautiful before. I either got to find out a stateside equivalent or save up and buy a bunch of it.
Though pass on the non-metallic, you say?

Problem with the markers in general is they're so thinned down in order to run through the marker. Causes problems covering other colors, and just generally adhering to unprimed plastic. You might have better luck decanting the marker into a paint dish or palette, and brushing it on. Aside from the metallics which are actually better than their regular metallic paints, I'm pretty sure it's just Mr. Color acrylics and an assload of thinner. In any case, the Mr Color stuff is carried at some Hobby Town locations, but generally their distribution in the US sucks.

Black Panther Blu-Ray. I've also been impulse buying Hot Wheels Street Beasts for the past month or so.
